Jesse_Wray
I've only managed to see the highlights from Saturday's match against Pompey, and I'm wondering how Jacobsen performed. Obviously we can't conclusively judge him merely on his debut, but what did people think of him?
iggy
Showed a willingness to get forward and occasionally had some good touches/passes, got caught out of position a few times. Personally rate Hibbo as a lot better, but for his first game in god knows how long I guess he was okay(ish)
Guest efctaxi
It was a decent debut when the performance of the rest of the team is considered . Nothing really to suggest he isn't up to the job once he gets settled in , though not many games left in which to secure another contract . carlmc25
I thought he did quite well, particularly going forward where he got into some decent positions but his final cross wasn't quite there. For his first full game in a long time he played well and he was definitely better at RB than Jagielka.
Maghull70
A promising debut. By no means perfect but showed some nice touches especially going forward (as suggested earlier). Now if we could somehow fuse together Hibberts defensive ability with Jacobsens forward play.

Then we'd have J-ibbet-son...what a name
jamiemaher85
I thought he did ok, the main problem bieng caught out of position but considering he has not played a competive game for god knows how long then it is understandable. I can't see him being anywhere near to a decent replacement though. I am looking forward to the return of Hibbert, which is quite shocking really! Romey 1878
He did alright. Nothing spectacular but you can't really expect more than he gave tbh.
Mac
Send the lad out on loan to the championship for a while to allow him to find his feet, I feel he will come good but he was thrown in at the deep end. ATB Mac
chicagoblue
Thought he did well enough, just looked a bit rusty. Good enough to get another start or two for sure.

Mac
Was not aware of that little fact. I would still extend, send him out on loan, coz we need all the warm bodies we can get our hands on. ATB Mac
Mac
My point was we need players, we cant afford the quality we need. Next best thing is to get who we can. Moyes track record of getting the most out of mediocre players. ATB Mac
