234ever
Fellaini, Osman or Jo ... I didn't see the first half but I heard Osman and Fellaini put in a good performance. I'll go for Fellaini I think ...
Sprooly
Osman he was wonderful
zequist
Fellaini, Osman or Jo ... Second that - all three really stood out. You could easily make a MOTM case for any of them.
MikeO
Leon back to his best, great to see.
Guest efctaxi
I missed the last 15 minutes , and the first 10 , but what I saw today was really good passing football , and some great movement from the players . Fellaini for once actually looked like a £15 mill player , and was all over everything like a rash , and seemed to have a huge determination . He is getting better week by week now , and will probably be a huge topic for discussion from now untill the end of the season . We were also very effective down the right for a change , mainly because Osman picked his game up , and I thought he had a great game too today . Jo ? What can I say ? He would have still had a great game even without the goals , so can't ask any more of the lad than he gave us this week . They are the 3 that stood out for me today , especially as they have all been under the spotlight recently . Everyone else had good games too , so what a day it has been . Very difficult to pick a man of the match , so Ill leave my decision untill later , and might try to catch the bits I missed .
dark
Osman for me Osman by miles. Osman is getting my vote also. I felt that his presence today was excellent and his mentallity today was faultless. Time and time again he looked threatening going foreward and was the rock of the team, I would even go as far as to say he filled Arteta's boots this afternoon. He gets my vote by a mile. I thought that Jo, Cahill and Fellaini had good games but nothing like the one that Leon displayed. Hope he continues this form till the end of the season. marcopaulo
fellaini for me as said he was all over today some good touches, scored a goal and won loads of headers also 2 goals came from his shots! leon was quality which is always great to see and jo keeps scorin! as said any 3 would deserve it! Churinga2
I'm not voting because i simply can't decide, That was a blue machine today! If we play at this level for the rest of the season, we will win the FA cup and still have a big chance on top4 spot Edited April 5, 2009 by Churinga
holystove
i agree with mark lawrensen (for once) .. thought fellaini was clear motm .. awesome to see osman back to good form tho.. jo seems to be really comfortable when he doesn't have to be the targetman, but can just play off the upcoming players .. if we field these 11 in the exact position they played today, aston villa are done . Droobie
Osman clear played his heart out and deserved his goal - but I'd like to give a special mention to Jags and Lescott. They were really solid at the back - especially near the end.
Guest efctaxi
I gave my vote to Fellaini after watching it again
Everton_Worshiper
Was undecided between Osman and (sure to raise some eyebrows) Hibbert, so I gave it to Hibbert. Boy have we missed a solid right back and his deliveries were top notch yesterday.
StevO
was very suprised with the quality of hibbos crossing yesterday. ossie jo and fellaini were all very good, but i gave it to fellaini due to the massive improvement hes made. johnalderson
Very hard to choose a star performer, they all were superb, Pienaar in my opinion is a gem, and i hope we keep hold of him in the summer, i think he would be well suited in the middle of the pitch rather than wide, holds the ball well, rarely gives it away, good skill and good creativity. Pienaar for me, thou Jo and Mo both had their best games for us in my opinion, and Osmans best show for some time
The Beard
A few candidates for the MOM, which is nice. However I felt that Fellaini did enough to get my vote. A vast improvement from recent weeks, a well taken goal, 2 shots that resulted in goals and general all round play. Mentions for Jo, Hibbert, Osman, Pienaar and Neville again for decent performances. dark
Fellaini definatly showed what he can do onSunday. He took his goal well and ensured that the team stayed fixed, he was a rock in the middle of the park and showed the leadership that grabbed the win. Usually Mo trails off towards the end and dosen't really contribute a lot. I felt that this changed against Wigan and he worked from the start up until when he left the field for Rodwell. Could have got MOTM for me, just got pipped by a brilliant Osman performance. Moyes seemed to like Ozzy's outing too.
