MikeO
That's a great piece, didn't realise he'd been a red....or maybe I did and I chose to ignore it . No matter, Peter Reid was the same. Love this bit.... ...(Osman) who has come to embody the focus, work ethic and much under-appreciated football aesthetic which the Scot has drilled into the best performing under-funded club in the land. Romey 1878
Cracking article that mate, cheers. Osman is such a frustrating player for me. I'm only critical of him because I know how good he can be, and that is very good. After his performance last weekend I hope he goes on a run of successive games like that. StevO
good read that one. im with you mark, as good as anyone on his day, but often too far between his days.
Guest efctaxi
Osman is a very similar player to Mcfadden . Capable of moments of brilliance on one hand , and struggles to get into the game on the other . I'm not sure what his best position is , and I don't think Moyes is either sometimes . Last week was a good performance , but there were still a few wasted passes and opportunities on goal . Lacks the icing on the cake too often really , even if the cake tastes ok without it . Just not the tastiest cake in the cupboard , and a bit crumby and stale at times

Have to agree with all the comments said so far. Osman is a fantastic player when he's on top of his game, he just dosen't seem to be at the top of it regularly enough. The reason he is frustrating for me is because I know how good he can be, yet he sometimes wastes opportunities and dosen't contribute an awful lot. I'm glad that he didn't stay at Derby County and it would be a shame to see him go. He's a good asset to the team. Can only repeat what Mark says too. With the great game he had at the weekend we can only hope that he builds on it and keeps the form going throughout the Manchester United clash and into the close games in May. DonKey
Cracking article that. Didn't realise he was once on the dark side. Agree with most of whats been said here. On his day, absolutely outstanding. Normally has a real purple patch of about 10-12 games a season, where he's flying. Didn't realise he had had so much trouble with his injuries. marcopaulo
A cross between a tart and a doughnut  also agree with everythin sometimes dont know how good he is til he has a shocker and you realise what he does for the team. good touch and all that but his finishin can be shocking at times and too lightweight but hes always worth his spot as he gives it all everytime and he turned from the dark side
fast lane
Very good article. I've always been a fan of his. His quick brain and quick feet make him a special player. Asfor the comparison with Faddy, you are having a laugh, aren't you? They are so different as players, Faddy has very little football intelligence (great instinct though), is quite lazy, and generally quite useless, bar the odd wonder goal, a few times a season.
