Romey 1878
I'd rather he not play before the end of the season tbh. Let him just just concentrate on getting his body strong, have a full pre-season and come back properly next season. Matt

Hafnia
A completely un-match fit Gibson against City? Disaster. He's not exactly mobile when he's fit. I would question how fit he actually is working at being... not sure how many players trying to regain fitness are absolutely leathered on a saturday night only 2 weeks ago... MC11
Cracking player mate and made us tick the season before last. If he stays fit there's no reason why he can't push McCarthy and Barry all the way. We'll need him with the extra games.

Nice to see him have a belting season and force his way through sgain. He controls play fantastically, can pick a pass and never gives it away and also likes a tackle
MC11
The thing I like about Gibson is he always shows for the ball and 90% of the time his passes go forward rather than sideways.

He just controls play so well, his positional play is phenomenal, always seems to be in the right place at the right time, his awareness of what going on sround him is brilliant. Massively underated. Newty82
He's now fit enough to get injured. Haha. It will be like having a new signing having him back. Hope he can find that belting left foot rocket shot of his that he got a rep for as a youngster.

MC11
I've always thought he carryd a bit of timber when he plays. It makes me wonder if his lifestyle somewhat has a major affect on his overall fitness. I know he likes a drink.
Bailey
He has been solid but nothing more for me and he is a poorer but younger version of Barry. He started preseason last year really well but when we played the better teams he looked out of his depth. I hope he comes good, but personally I dont see him being any more than cover, especially if the injury has had a lasting effect. pete0

Cornish Steve
Honestly, I don't know that much about Gibson, although I've heard comments that his potential is limited by his lifestyle. If that's the case, I hope he decides to change. For individuals who make so much money, it's hardly asking a lot that they follow a strict diet and regimen. MC11
Just watching 2012/13 review and Gibson was absolutely brilliant. A forgotten man here and someone who is probably only expected to be a squad player. When the lads fit he's brilliant. Hoof_It_Nev
Didn't we go through a patch where we didn't lose when he was on the pitch? Something like 12 games unbeaten then he got injured and we lost a match... might be imagining that? Either way I always rated him. Always put in solid performances and did a similar job to Barry in a way that he protected the defense really well.

You're not imaging it, it was nearly a season where he played we hadn't lost I think. That might be because he missed large parts of the season due to injury mind you, 12 games sounds more realistic

Matt
If he could stay fit he out best midfielder. Ahead of Barry and McCarthy? Don't think so. He is a very good midfielder, and has the talent but since he can't get a prolonged run of games its hard to rate him at all.
