MikeO
Not a chance in hell, he'll play a lot of games for us this season. Important squad member.
Everton_Worshiper
You guys at preston would wet yourself if he came on loan...but as said, no way it will happen. Too much talk of Rodders on our OS already so he is going to play a much bigger part this season.
Romey 1878
Not a chance. You can have Anichebe though... please.

john_webby
Rods hopefully will be young player of the season so very much doubt he will be goin out on loan with our paper thin squad anyway
CaptainFerguson10
Rodwell will be our current day Peter Reid, but I think he would not be any good at center back, not by today's performance anyway.
jcrawfor
Rodwell will be our current day Peter Reid, but I think he would not be any good at center back, not by today's performance anyway. So in 30 years he'll contemplate purchasing the club from then defunct Anil Ambani? all while managing Thailand to draws with Sunderland? Bill
You can have Big Victor Anichebe PNE, he would probably be a good player for you, I dont think you will be getting Rodders.
Ian C
You can have Big Victor Anichebe PNE, he would probably be a good player for you, I dont think you will be getting Rodders. Although, was it Rodwell or Duffy who was saying the Moyes was thinking about loaning them out?
duncanmckenzieismagic
There is zero % chance of Moysie letting Rodders go out on loan we havent got anywhere near enough players as it is especially at CB. If he did sanction a loan move he would seriously need his head tested
Romey 1878
Although, was it Rodwell or Duffy who was saying the Moyes was thinking about loaning them out? It was Duffy, but he said it probably wouldn't be til January.

Romey 1878
Moyes would be crazy to let him go, unless we have a couple of signings on the way which looks very doubtful.

Bill
Such an obvious photoshop I can see the bad photoshop attempt to put him in the pne shirt, but why write that and wind up his own forum.
Wall Writer
that photoshop is hysterical, looks like Rodwell on a midget's body.. ha ha ha...

jamiemaher85
The thing I found funny was that some of there fans didn't think he would make there starting line-up! They where obviously shouted down by some more sensible PNE fans. No disrespect to Preston at all (i do have a soft spot for them) but Rodwell would walk into there team week in week out. StevO
he played very very well last night, if he carries on like that he'll be playing here every week.
Romey 1878
he played very very well last night, if he carries on like that he'll be playing here every week. Have you changed your mind about him being a CB yet Steve? Even if he hadn't played so badly at CB this pre-season i think he'd be wasted there anyway.
StevO
no, i still think he'll be a great CB, i dont rate his work going forward anyway, but he doesnt lose possession and is always there for a pass.
jamiemaher85
I think that him playing CB during pre-season will have improved his game as a midfielder. It will have given him better grounding at the defensive duties that he may need and will give him insight to the support he needs to offer the defence. I don't see him as a centre back long term, but this spell at the back will have given his game a boost.
StevO
i see it the other way jamie, i think his time in midfield will serve him well when he gets in defence. but to be honest, as long as he carries on like this, he can play where ever moyes see's fit, i wont complain. hes one exciting talent though.
