Burnley Home, First Game, Need Help With Directions From Lime Street.

Recommended Posts

Hay Guys, Burnley at home will be my first time at Goodison. My train gets to LIME STREET 1:13 (roughly), from here how do i get to Goodison? Bus times, shuttles etc.

Any help or advice would get great.

Thanks

i cant think of the bus numebrs as i dont use them anymore, i only use private taxis!

I would phone DELTA TAXIS on 0151 924 7373 speak to operator and get picked up outside lime street station and go to the ground, or county road, will cost around £6.00 - cuts out all the messing!

You can walk it in Half an Hour, stopping at one or two pubs along the way, its a nice way to get there.

The main exit onto Lime street puts you just across the road from the Bus Station, you can get several in the general direction and there is also a soccerbus that takes you directly to the ground, but misses out all the Pubs. ;)

I'v never yet not managed to get a taxi outside the station and that's without booking.

Or as mentioned you can walk up to Goodison.I'm no good at bus time tables  so I've never tried them, but they are just across the road from Lime street.

come off the platform, through the ticket check, turn right, walk out the door, step into the black cab at the front of the que, just ask politely to take you to goodison park. job done.

easiest way for a first timer imo

I'd take the short walk from Lime St to Central and then get the Northern line train to Kirkdale (only 3 stops away). Then its only a short 9-10 minute walk to Goodison (unless youre a dawdler). About which way to go, just follow.
