Pienaar for me - worked his arse off, played some quality football but just didnt quite happen for him in front of goal.

Baines was another noticeable and did well down the left.

Cahill was mostly anonymous but he did have a few chances, and Saha should have scored at somepoint. I though Heitinga was very average as well.

Lol I voted for Johhny H I thought he bossed the midfield Baines was a close second

I also thought Cahill was our best attacking option and set up a few good chances for other players and was unlucky late on to see an effort cleared off the line

Cant beleive we never won especially after such a one sided first half. I think in all honesty that is probably it for the season now , but we live in hope!

Distin had another solid game at the back

Rodwell had a good first half and then became anonymous in the second

Cahill was poor tonight imo, didn't really offer a lot (other than his late chance)

Pienaar I felt rushed things a little, didn't necessarily pick the right options.

Probably gonna go with Distin, another solid performance and I loved his run 3/4 the length of the field! :gay:

In terms of what? Fourth place I agree but in terms of Europa qualification it's still very much on.

It's a kick in the teeth not to take three points but if we'd have been offered four from today and the City game most of us would have taken it. Villa have taken a huge knock today and Liverpool continue to be shite, we could easily take one or both of those.

I dont think fourth has ever been an option so I was referring to our rapidly fading Europa League chances.

I just feel that with so little time left if our opponents made one slip we had to grab that chance. Well they have made that slip and in true Everton fashion we have let it go begging.

Its still mathematically possible for us to qualify but its looking less likely by the day. By tonight we will probably be five points behind the Shite and given thier easy run in I cant see us catching them.

If Villa win thier game in hand it also puts them 5 clear so I suppose all will depend on our game at Villa Park and even if we do manage to catch Villa we need to rely on a Spurs v Chelsea final. The biggest if in the whole scenario is us winning all our remaining games and I just cant see us doing that
