Recommended Posts

With us not having any real money this year, which free agents would you like to see at everton.

personaly i'd like to see

-Kris Boyd (a great out and out striker, although he is known for being lazy)

-Kevin Kuranyi ( A big physical striker similar to drogba)

-Joe Ledley ( young left winger, good squad player with potential)

-Christoph Metzelder (good solid defender and ex-dortmund teammate of pienars but has had is fair share of injuries)

- Juan Roman Riquelme (great lampard style midfielder but he is getting on a bit)

-Michael Ballack (i wish)never going to happen but would love him here at everton

-Kim Kallstrom (tall creative/defensive midfielder who can play the holding role, the cahill role or on the left

-Aleksandar Lukovic (Don't know much about him but watching youtube videos he seams a solid left back who can also play center back)

-Mario Santana (skill full winger)

-Sergio Canales ( young(18) creative attacking fabragas style midfielder)

-Raul Tamudo (Just because i used to always buy him on fifa)

I'd also like a look at Ilan at west ham (joined on a short term contract in january)

Canales is pre-contracted to Madrid, so that won't happen dude!

Lukovic would be an alright back-up i suppose, and if he is free, then why not, his wages wouldnt be too bad.

Ballack won't happen, nor Riquelme, Kuranyi or Metzelder.

Ledley has been touted as a promising young player but injuries have hampered him ever so slightly recently.

Kallstrom is past his best and would be mid-table at best, Boyd hasn't got the right attitude IMO?

Mario Santana is a good shout though mate, wouldn't mind myself! But he did score against us (Pens) to knock us out of Europe...so he owes us

i would have-

lukovic-at a good age on a free and can play LB or CB a position we need cover

ledley-would take ledley as squad cover as even if he can't break into the team we could always sell him on for 3-5 million

beckford-looks like a done deal anyway (i would then sell vaughan 3 million and yakubu for 8-10 million and buy a top class striker with the rest of money)

completely agree also tenaciousj about ledley he would be a good squad player and like jayc said we could always sell him later on for a few million the same with beckford. i personally think that we should start making our own money if were not going to get taken over by a billionaire.

I'm sure I heard/read somewhere that altintop the turk for bayern is a free agent this summer - not seen a lot of him but from what I've seen/heard he'd be quality - probably a team with more money will come in for him no doubt!
