Lowensda
£27m bid rejected. Swansea know we're spending money.
Shukes
Swansea are holding out for £40m. If that's our low ball offer then I can see us getting a deal in the middle somewhere. If we do secure the Sigurdsson deal then that surely spells doom for Barkley's Everton career. Ye I can see him going for little over what we pay for Sigurdson. Romey 1878
I hope we don't go above £35m.
StevO
Personally not happy going over £25m but if RK wants him so be it.
pete0
I hope we don't spunk millions on him, we'll be doing a Villa under MON buying on form rather than quality, and from teams below us which doesn't work. City and Chelsea done it by gazumping the teams above them. I'd rather we done it using clever scouting and getting value. E.g Piatti got 10 goals and 11 assists and just went for £1m. We should have been all over that. Steve Walsh needs to pull his finger out.

Hafnia
£30m. Sell Barkley for a bit more.
Lowensda
In-depth comparison analysis between him and Ross put them almost identical in all areas bar deadball situations. For £30m, there's better, younger options out there imo.

Finn balor
He is a quality player but him and Davey are quite similar. I wonder where the pace is coming from up top.
Shukes
Because the real Ross won't sign a new contract! I only know what I have read though. And Ross said do t believe everything you read. Media is just that for me... media. And if I had a straight choice with no price, no wages etc between the two. I would choose Ross every day. Finn balor
If Ross stays which I don't think he will we could have Ross, davey and gilfy which wouldn't be bad. Just feel koeman isn't bothered if he goes
Peter H
It wont be 30 mil because Swansea rejected it. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/swansea-city-reject-30million-everton-10686456 Edited June 26, 2017 by Peter H
SimonButtle
£30m is plenty for him, if they have rejected it then we need to move on and look at other targets as he is not worth anymore imo
Hafnia
They will likely get an extra few million more... I'd maybe look at testing Chelsea for fabregas.
markjazzbassist
well this is a surprise, 2 bids rejected this fast, our negotiating team is cut throat right now, love it.

There is a story on the BBC website about them wanting at least £40m we really need to swerve this imo, no way is he worth that sort of money, £30m is plenty for Gylfi. Sibdane
Yeah, I think 25mil is the right price -- not sure I'd be happy if we spent even 30mil on him. Elston Gunnn and SimonButtle
Bailey
Apparently 9 goals from open play in the last 3 season's. Still working on assists. For anyone that cares ?

So maybe we can use that as leverage.
captainbeaker
He will be 28 in September so £30million not good value for us, I can see Swansea's reasoning for turning it down as without Gylfi would they stay up?
Hafnia
Simply put.... if he offers us a reliable "you know where this is going" player.... in the sense that we had with Gerry annoyingly enough... from a central player perspective and we get forwards in who can make and read required runs then it will be a snip. Barkley is almost certainly gone. The £30m bid plus klassen says it all.
Finn balor
I would like us to get someone in with real pace. Gilfy would supply the ammunition and weigh in with goals. I think he will go for somewhere between £35-40 mill
