So long as Liverpool didn't win that's all important. Appears the referee was less than impartial once again and the cunt Suarez up to his usual antics, so Aston Villa got to be pleased with taking a point back south. We can gain the advantage with a win at neighbors West Bromwich Albion in a day or two, so everything to play for. Not aware of what else occured today.

Felt a bit sick watching the three 'pundits' on Match of the day defending the Suarez 'dive' !

How did Saurez manage to avoid injury throwing himself around like that, that would be the ultimate justice, similar to what happened to Coutinho, when he injured his shoulder during a dive.

The match itself did show that if teams don't roll over to the rs and take them on, then beyond their two strikers they are only average, really enjoyed watching 'captain fantastic' playing in the role Brenda says he can extend his career at.....please Brenda, keep playing at the back!!

Watching Gerrard run out of steam, and Brenda affraid to drop him should make enjoyable watching.

Although he will always be handy for the regular penalties.

Spurs being outplayed at least. If they keep playing like this, they'll lose.

and they go 1-0 up, completely against the run of play.

Got a tweet mentioned on the BBC, kinda. They edited half of it out!

Matt the Toffee: How was that not a penalty?! Clear push, referee had a good view.

If it had not of been for the opposition I would have savored Manchester Uniteds loss with greater satisfaction and even then they may have played a weakened side with the semi-final coming up in a few days. They can't win the league or the FA Cup so it's the only route to 'glory' they got. Maybe getting to a stage now where feel a little sympathy with Moyes and the often struggle and disappointments of this season thus far. They'll get back to something of their previous stature, but not until they lose the manager they currently find themselves with. Still in Europe though so will be a few interesting weeks ahead, with Moyes, club, and players.
