MikeO
Maybe getting to a stage now where feel a little sympathy with Moyes and the often struggle and disappointments of this season thus far. Popular Post Hafnia
I wonder how long it'll be until a big club snaps Januzaj up? Lets let him stay at old Trafford and develop for a year and then offer £10m plus Steven naismith... After all it's in the best interests of the player. markjazzbassist, marcus jones, Lowensda and 2 others
Dalziel Kane
Hmmmmmmm....... Nah . Not so much with regard to Manchester United, more so David Moyes himself. We know he's incapable of winning an actual trophy, but has been castigated and ridiculed left and right since he joined up with his new employers While Moyes (in the full picture) wasn't a great manager for us, he's a decent enough individual and good man so had to give a little sympathy to his current predicament. Just seems he's been berated a little too much in recent years (Yes even during his latter time here) so maybe Mr Moyes warrants a break. Say before, should never have been appointed Fergusons successor to begin with. - If he was at a less pressure club task or without someone so established with lesser expectations, all this talk would seem avoidable. MikeO
I'd probably piss my pants laughing if Sunderland could get a result at OT tonight. (As long as they then don't go and do something stupid like beating City in the final and nicking a Europa place)

MikeO
Anelka denies charge.... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25870640 ....I don't get the grounds. Seems to me he's supporting his anti-Semitic friend by copying the anti-Semitic gesture he uses.....and that means he's being anti-establishment because the "establishment" won't allow his buddy his democratic right to be anti-Semitic. Is he really that stupid? At the very least (as I said before), he needs to pick his friends more wisely.

Cornish Steve
Throw the book at him. Never mind what he meant by it... It's what it stands for. Over paid, over indulged smart arse. So why don't we throw the book at national teams who refuse to play Israel? Instead, we let some of them host the World Cup.
MikeO
So why don't we throw the book at national teams who refuse to play Israel? We should.....if they're drawn against them they should be made to fulfill the fixture or be thrown out of whatever competition is involved. Wasn't aware of people refusing to play them. Cornish Steve
It wasn't that long ago that the Turkish U-19 team canceled a match rather than play against Israel - and this is in a nation with diplomatic relations. The more hard-core countries point-blank refuse to play. And the footballing authorities just sit idly by and do nothing - while making an issue (correctly so) out of Anelka's gesture. I really hope Israel qualify for the 2022 World Cup tournament, because it will shine a bit of light on this issue. marcus jones

Cornish Steve
On the other hand, Israel's tennis team were fined a significant sum last year by the governing body of tennis for refusing to play games on Yom Kippur. Whether right or wrong, it shows the double-standard that's in place. marcus jones

Dalziel Kane
Fuck Liverpool, and the usual biased pricks we have for match officials . Was kind of hoping for a reenactment of 1984 and their Manchester United heroics, but poor decisions and giving the Dorset side little assistance or protection leaves them with little chance of a duplication. Still expect Rogers to win nothing this season.
marcopaulo
commentators saying about officials being brave enough to make decisions...never understood that..if there's a decision to be made then make it..it's not bravery..it's competence Matt, MikeO and pete0
Matt
Better team lost. Hope the shite play like that against us...
Dalziel Kane
Even bet Rogers put out a weakened side for today or had one eye on the upcoming Mersey derby in a week or two but as with us, it's the only chance the club has of winning something this season. Sorry to learn Bournemouth could not provide an upset on the day, but Liverpool have to fall by the wayside sooner or later in this competition.
