Shukes
I don't think ur he meant it in that way. No one in the right mins would make a comment like that unless they have watched Besic grow through his career and Know something we don't. He's said in interviews that he knows he needs to take control in games more. That'll come with age.
Hafnia
I'm more bothered about him standing off near our penalty area to be honest. Lowensda and Matt

Guest millwallforever
McCarthy should be more willing to run with the ball. His unwillingness to attempt the killer pass and opting for the safe sideways solution instead is really frustrating. He's potentially a world class player and should dare far more. I don't know, McCarthey is a reliable player and I dont think he needs to change his game offensively. Which is strange because he had a lot more freedom to roam whilst under Martinez at Wigan. I guess Bobby dosnt want him playing that role. You know what they say, if it aint broke and all..
Toffee_in_LA
I kinda agree with MC here. He is a phenomenal CDM but playing him alongside Barry has been a bit of a waste sometimes, especially against lower teams. Now Barry and McCarthy cover for our FB's and that is really important but I'd love to see Besic slot alongside him on rotation with Barry or against the weaker teams. Matt
The issue runs deeper than simply McCarthy. Since Martinez took over at Everton, 11 different players have endured muscle strains amounting to 17 separate injuries. Halt the investigation, it's bloody clear! Shukes
He has a point though. If lukaku jumped higher, the rest of the team wouldn't need to jump so high and therefore less chance of falling wrong. If lukaku ran more Mirralas wouldn't need to sprint so fast and therefore less chance of injury. If he earnt us more points I would be much happier and my relationship would be in less jeopardy. Bloody lukaku. Edited December 19, 2014 by Shukes Matt
Lowensda
It definitely run across the board. For an ex physio, he's not great at preventative (injury) exercises. McCarthy always seemed like one of those players who just wouldn't get injured (daft I know), now it's persistent, he needs to stay away from games until he's 100%.
