Matt
He's better than Kone and Niasse. So am I, and I'm a disruptive sod when I want to be. Sign me instead! Romey 1878
dlblue
Hard to judge him playing in a West Brom team that doesn't suit his style. I imagine just rumours. Linked before we had a manager.
Shukes
I think he is a top player and wouldn't mind him here at all. He was very naive putting in a transfer request.....but it looks from the outside that he may have learnt his lesson
Paddock
I'll be chokka if we sign him I can't stand him. Anither one who thinks he's a lot better than he is Average at best. Romey 1878

efc1111
I think he changed his agent and seems to have kept his head down for the last season. At the transfer fee being reported, I'd say he would be worth it.

dlblue
I have only heard of him having issues with Pulis. Also his next club is massive for him, sometimes its good having a striker with a point to prove.

AlbanyNYToffee
Leopard cannot change his spots. No thank you. Anyone going to the extent he has gone to to be a disruption to the team i'd have no part of.
Sibdane
I'm warming up to him now. He's young and will have a point to prove. He's also shown that he can score goals in the PL.
markjazzbassist
for sure if he's on the cheap, not looking to spend 20m on this guy though.
Newty82
Contract runs out in the summer doesn't it??? I'm not sure about him. Was looking to be an exciting player but it all went tits up when WBA wouldn't let him leave to Spurs. For the right price, it would be OK. Will be interesting to see how he does once he gets out of WBA.

Sibdane
Niasse is on 65k a week. I wouldn't use Niasse's wage as a guage for others -- he's obviously massively overpriced. I also thought he was only on 55K.

scouse
for 10 mill id do that deal maybe swap for McCarthy they are in for a midfielder! he can also play on the wing which provides us options. markjazzbassist

markjazzbassist
Strange that no one else is picking up on this bargain. Not sure about him. Spurs got their man in Janssen, so they're not in for him anymore. Not sure who else would be interested. We are the biggest club left who needs a striker. Maybe west ham but they're trying to buy a "marquee" type striker 20m or something to pair with Payet and appease the fans. This is bargain bin. Romey 1878
Even without him being a bit of a tit I don't really rate him as a player. He's about the best of the strikers we're being linked with though.

People keep telling me is a good striker but 36 goals in 121 games over 5 seasons. That's crap, especially when you factor in 20 of those 36 were in 1 season. Shukes
Never liked him for some reason. I would say he is better than most think. When I have watched him I have reluctantly thought, he is better than I want to admit. But there is always something in my stomach that tells me not to like him. Pulls ruined him, simple as that. Goal scorer in there if you don't park the bus and expect the lone striker to do everything. Which we dont
