Pat
Ever since the sting on rorted dodgey passports involving Brazillian fotballers, the red tape has really become a choke hold for many. Not a footballing quandry. more a home office, immigration slow road tobe sure.
L_Blue
this saga could reportedly be comeing to an end http://www.eatsleepsport.com/news_details....&l_id=1&t_id=31 read this bit of news on NSNO first who said this came from an Italian source and no one else seems to have picked it up yet. Think Eatsleepsport have picked up on this too so until I read it on SkySports news or something I am taking it with a grain of salt. Cloud
Brazilian midfielder Anderson da Silva Franca has reportedly received clearance from the FA to start the season with Everton. The 23-year-old has been on loan at Malaga for the past six months following a work permit saga that saw him refused permission to play for the Toffees earlier this year. Everton completed his signing from Uruguayan club Nacional but got caught in red tape when the Department for Employment refused him a work permit because he is not a regular international for Brazil. However, it was then found that he could qualify for an EU passport and circumvent the rules if he went to Spain and he was monitored by David Moyes while at Malaga last season. If the reports are confirmed, Anderson will be free to join up with the squad for the remainder of pre-season and end his spell in limbo. -------------------------------- About time aswell, it will be good to see him play, another asition to out squad. hope he does well. Romey 1878
He might be exactly what we need, we havnt really got a tough tackling midfielder. As i said before though Everton havnt confirmed it so dont get too excited yet.
