smeghead1
think you have to give him time to get used to who he is playing with Agree 100% he's trained with his new team mates for a week, got a new boss telling him to try a new way of playing I think given a good run in the team he could surprise a few of us! Btay
I really liked the look of him. No left back is going to enjoy the thought of dealing with Gerry and Bolasie over 90 mins.
MC11
Thought he did fairly well. Yeh a few things didn't come off but for me he looks a real option. If the guy from Lyon comes in as well we're going to have so real competition on the wings. All the top sides have top wingers!! Hafnia
Wide men can be put in certain categories. Jobbers who will give you 7/10 every game, keep shape, track back, work with other players. Don't win you games but play a part. Then you get the match winners... one game brilliant, one game so/so, some games nothing comes off. We seen this with the likes of mcfadden... the trick is you need a few of them to put pressure on them. If it's not working bring on the next option. MikeO
Chatting to a Bristol City season ticket holder today (niece's boyfriend) who was very happy for the cash they got from the sell-on clause, but he really thinks he'll do well for us. markjazzbassist
I see a real player in bolasie. Wonderful crossing ability, Good defensive work rate, and a pact attacking threat. I'm much happier with this signing now than I was initially.

MC11
I'm holding judgement on this one until I've seen a little more. Right now he looks like a player without end product. nyblue23 and Romey 1878

Matt
Same here. There were quality moments and daft ones too, but it's too early to judge (unlike Holgate because I think we've got a gem in him)
Hafnia
This whole "end product" thing. If he is a winger who gets that he will be worth £70m. As it stands he is brilliant at stretching the opposition. Giggs used to do this all the time without getting assists or goals, it allowed the defence to push out and get settled up the pitch and creates space. I see a player there. Loads of power, pace, and the opponents shit themselves when he has the ball. For me we will see us get loads more opportunities without them being directly attributed to yala but because of how he plays in the phase between defence and attack. Bailey
He was involved in plenty of the chances we created today. I couldn't give a shit if he is the one playing the final pass or shot as long as his presence on the pitch means that we are creating and scoring more. mcirony
One thing he really offers us is a breather when under the cosh. Several times yesterday he took the ball when we were under pressure and galloped up field, allowing us to reshape and push further up, It will scare teams knowing he can punt it past their high lying defenders and counter. In terms of end product, if he keeps putting balls in the box like he has been, it's up to the forwards to get on the end of them. Hafnia
Simply put we will get more goalscoring opportunities with him in the side. The ability to counter attack being one.

Paddock
I'm holding judgement on this one until I've seen a little more. Right now he looks like a player without end product. Nailed it. He's strong and not really built like a winger for me.
Finn balor
Like someone else said on here, the end product thing can be interpreted different ways. Against west brom he should have had two assists after poor finishing. That's not his fault. He puts the ball in some some great areas as a winger that's your job. If you put a great ball in and the attackers are standing on their heels and not anticipating that's a not his fault again. I thought his performances so far have been excellent considering lack of time with the club markjazzbassist

Finn balor
I think he will be our breakout player if the fans leave off him cos they're already on his back at goodison.
