MikeO
BBC. "The Real Madrid winger was not as influential as usual, primarily because the world's most expensive player was stalked everywhere he went by Everton's Muhamed Besic." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29470722 Romey 1878
markjazzbassist
yes fantastic i was wondering how he did. thanks for the clips and for that after match review. so excited to see more of him at everton!
Sibdane
Wow. I didn't realize he was that quick. What a plus. Steve_E
Romey 1878
I've always been convinced we'd have a quality player on our hands. I hope to see much more of him in an Everton shirt. Matt
MC11
There was an article saying he out paced Bale. Bale was a yard behind when the ball was first played. He also wasn't running in a straight line like Besic. However he did seem near enough match him for pace. Very impressive.
Hafnia
He wasn't as quick but certainly quick enough to keep up and get a great tackle in. Probably the quickest at the club based on what I seen. Rapid.
Shukes
I swear this lad is going to shock people. he is rough around the edges but he has the makings of our answer to Stevie G. He can tackle, control a ball, turn smartly, dribble, good range of passing and is not scared to shoot. Excited every time I see him on the teamsheet. Matt
he played tonight fantastic game :-) bale is stopped :-D two great moves ;-) besic took the ball and fast furious in 3 sec: besic faster than bale: There was an article saying he out paced Bale. Bale was a yard behind when the ball was first played. He also wasn't running in a straight line like Besic. However he did seem near enough match him for pace. Very impressive. Shukes
Ye it still looks like bale wad quicker, he started behind Besic and was slowly moving sway. Besic times his slide to perfection. Sibdane
MC11
Yeh, I've seen that Matt. Still don't think he outpaced Bale or that he's faster. Matched him for pace in this occasion yes.
Hafnia
Yeh, I've seen that Matt. Still don't think he outpaced Bale or that he's faster. Matched him for pace in this occasion yes. If he matched him on that occassion then as far as i'm concerned he is extremely fast. Its not like Bale wasn't running flat out - he was. Besic was able to keep up to the extent that he was able to stay with him and although Bale was slightly quicker Besic was able to get a good tackle in. Not many players could do that to say the least.

Fair enough, only brought your attention to is since you said you had read an article, wasn't sure if you had seen the video or not If he matched him on that occassion then as far as i'm concerned he is extremely fast. Besic was able to keep up to the extent that he was able to stay with him and although Bale was slightly quicker Besic was able to get a good tackle in. Not many players could do that to say the least. It was a great tackle, especially at the pace he had to make it at.

Shukes
Loved the tackle but there's no way he will get away with that in the premiership. His follow through cleaned the guy and he would have been punished for that. If he can tone it down slightly he will be a monster though.
