duncanmckenzieismagic
This is a real 6 pointer, anything less than 3 points would be a disaster. Don't want to even think about losing ! By the end of February we could be the first team in history to be bottom of the league and still not be in a relegation battle Toffee_in_LA and Blue 250
Guest rusty747
Burnley winning, Sunderland drawing, Villa only 1 down to Liverpool if ever we needed 2 wins on the bounce it is right now. After WBA and Palace we have Liverpool, Chelsea and Leicester, followed by Arsenal.
rubecula
Lets add it up, the baggies have managerial troubles, they are playing badly, they are in trouble. I suspect they will therefore hammer us.
Shukes
Excited for this, first game at Goodison ever so I genuinely cannot wait! Anyone else going to game? My son got me tickets for the park end mate so I'll be there.
Cornish Steve
Monday is a holiday in the US so I'll be watching from the beginning. Can't usually get home for Monday fixtures so I'm excited to see the 3-0 pasting we are going to lay on West Brom! It might be a holiday for you, but not for us in the South. I have a very busy work schedule tomorrow and will have to content myself with occasional visits to the BBC website to see the score. Hafnia
Crucial game this, really is. Someone give Rom a kick in the tunnel on the way out to the pitch we need him in full flow tonight. Hopefully we will see Mirallas put in a performance that says "Give me £80k a week". I think it will be 3-1 to us. 2 goals for Rom and 1 for Mirallas. I think we have a few who are on £60k plus. Barry, Lukaku, Jags, - £60-£70k is about right for our pay structure

Basically:- We rarely win without James McCarthy We need Lukaku and Mirallas to be hungry as they are key elements who lack consistency - MCD dont have a meltdown - a fully fit and performing Mirallas is a great asset Matt

Hegemon92
We need McCarthy and Sly: http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/sly-stallone-deliver-special-message-8468143
Hegemon92
I still don't understand the pessimism towards Lukaku. Lukaku is always fighting for the ball and pushing defenders off the ball up top. My biggest worry is other players not showing up to the game, particularly in the middle. One thing we need to stop doing is passing the ball back to the GK because any mistake there will cost us.

MikeO
No McGeady . But that means only one natural wide player again, Barkley or Naismith doing the job presumably.
MikeO
West Brom XI: Foster, Wisdom, McAuley, Lescott, Baird, Gardner, Morrison, Yacob, Brunt, Berahino, Anichebe

MikeO
Anyway; I'd have had Oviedo in for Barkley but that aside a decent XI. We'll have to score at least three though to counter the inevitable goals from Vic (from a cock-up) and Lescott (from a corner obviously). rubecula
Newty82
Two scores in my head...3-0 and 1-0, both Everton. 3-0 'naturally'...the Pullis effect is knocking it down to 1-0.

I'd expect to see "fluid movement" among the 3, but maybe Barkley will stay mostly central.
Toffee_in_LA
I'd normally be in class for this game but it's a holiday here in the states so I'll get to watch it all. 3 points is a must here (yeah we've said this a fair number of times here). COYB!
