Shukes
Can't wait to see them, that's dive in three now isn't it? Hope Koeman can be the bigger man if this Conrinues.

But three of them were in one game, so you should be downplaying it, right? Not to mention it's Reading U23s, who are hardly, say, Wolfsburg in the EL. Sorry, couldn't resist . captainbeaker
Match report link below, sounds like a young reading side, and some penalty box strikes. http://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/u23s-reading-everton-premier-league-2-adams-park-3368838.aspx

And all this despite the fact that he is only getting service from everyone's kids, bot exactly the service you would be getting from a CL side. Can you wink from mobiles? FairWooney
Good that he's doing well and Unsworth is happy to have him. He won't play for us until January at least as he's not in the squad from what I recall so can't be added to the squad until January. I'd be happy for him to return and prove himself but probably more chance he gets a transfer than a first team game. Lowensda

He wasn't given a squad number when Koeman first arrived because Koeman wanted him gone but when the squad list was submitted, and it was clear he'd still be around, he was on the list. Hafnia
all very admirable what he is doing for the under 23's. By all accounts his work rate etc was what got him noticed.... If he earns his chance - which I believe he is showing signs of doing then give him a go. I don't think he will be of much use unfortunately. Matt
I watched that, I was hoping that he was being positive about him and that his English was a little off again, but that smile on his face clearly said "who fucking cares if a 26 year old scores a hat trick in the u23s you muppet". Hafnia
ouch - some banter our manager has got hasn't he? Martinez would be telling us how phenomenal it is etc.... Big Ron? nah - "so what.... he's playing with kids who only a couple will ever make professional debuts."
markjazzbassist
yep he handled it well, and i agree with matt and haf, he should be scoring at will in the U23, and preparing his fitness for his departure in january.

MikeO
Indeed. Love Koeman's attitude. I don't on this. OK so 95% sure he's a waste of space but if he's knocking them in for fun then at least let him train with the full squad and have another look.....or maybe just give him a locker? Bill
Me neither, if the manager wants the players to respect him, he has to respect the players. Shukes
Well done Ronny. You just lowered his value even more. Ronny got it right when he said he is a coach not a manager haha.
captainbeaker
He obviously doesn't suit Ronald's style, but he does look like a penalty box predator who could be good for throwing on to get a goal in last 10 minutes or so. Looks worth having on bench with his confidence high just now.
