MikeO
I'm more concerned that we are only 6 points above the drop zone Eight points between 21 and 29 when I went to school.

MikeO
I'm more concerned that we are only 6 points above the drop zone Ha ha meant to say if we lose today Hmm. Doesn't appear that way but a half-decent attempt at a save. All will be well.
pete0
Drinking with one of my city mates tonight and he was raving about Barkley like the next big thing. Plus he wouldn't be surprised if city bought stones for £50 mil. I said both have been disappointing, Mori looking the better, but luckily he's not English so might go unnoticed. He agreed about jags being the leak link in defense, supporting distin. As distin covered alot.
Lowensda
Team for me 4-2-3-1 Joel Coleman - Jags - Mori - Baines McCarthy - Barry Deulofeu - Barkley - Lennon Lukaku Subs Cleverley for McCarthy Mirallas for Lennon Niasse for Deulofeu End with a more defensive 4-4-2 Joel Coleman - Jags - Mori - Baines Mirallas - Barkley - Barry - Cleverley Lukaku - Niasse Gives Rom some support. Adds bodies in midfield. Work the counter late in the game when they're tired. I've noticed a few of us have put Lennon in on the left, just to fit him in i'm guessing. Interchanging with Del, would be ideal, keep things fresh in the first half and tire them out for the late game. milesey05
Lose tonight that P45 must be chucked at Roberto. Even you optimistic " Roberto can turn this around " fans must see the light. i'm confident tonight though that we will get a win so i have put the Toffee's in my bet :-)

Shukes
Why is it doumbia is cleared to play and Niasse isn't Niasse had a more complicated permit request I think..or maybe we were too slow in requesting.
msloan78
Niasse signed after the midday deadline apparently. Doumbia was signed well in advance.
veedublin
If we lose today the difference will be 5 points, not six. If we win today, we'll jump from 12th place to the top half of the table, one point behind Liverpool.

JoeQuince
Strange team today! Baines on the bench and Stones not even in the squad. Roberto getting tough on Stones finally? Maybe Stones is being a petulant shit? Maybe he's injured? Also curious as to why Baines isn't starting the match... markjazzbassist
milesey05
No Stones? Injured? Maybe an argument over a late move away being denied? Maybe just dropped for playing like a clown last game? markjazzbassist

Guest rusty747
If Roberto is giving Stones a lesson in humility then I totally agree with it. But don't go ott like he did with Mirallas please Roberto. Short, sharp shock, then back on the bench and fight for your starting place. That said, I would like to have seen Galloway on the bench. We could be struggling if either Jags or Mori get a knock and have to go off. I know Barry can do a job there but a cb on the bench would have made sense to me. Hafnia
Excellent management dropping stones, clear message and hopefully one that gets home to our talented youngster who needs a smart dose of humble pie and a reality check. The opposite end of that spectrum sees lennon get a deserved start.
