Cornish Steve
What's the funniest/wittiest sign you've seen on a vehicle lately? rubecula and Matt

MikeO
Not "funny" but a great advertising line I saw on a van many years back. Guy advertising himself as a "twenty-three and a half hour plumber (I have to sleep sometime)". Gets your attention far better than the standard, "24 hour" stuff. Clever I thought. rubecula and Matt

MikeO
Again a bit random, and I think I've mentioned it in "grinds your gears" but lorries that have, "Caution: rear wheel steering!" on the back of them. What exactly are you supposed to be cautious of or do differently? Are they suddenly going to go into reverse and crush you? We should be told. The "If you can't see my mirrors I can't see you!" is another that I'm sure I've mentioned before. Bollocks. If you can't see their mirrors it means they can't see your eyes, not that they can't see your vehicle .
rubecula
lso why do horse boxes have signs on saying HORSES We all know what is in there. We never see a van with a warning notice on saying LOBSTERS or whatever.

rubecula
"Show dogs in transit" is another one. Why in the world do I need to know that? Yes, I might have followed it if it said "Show Alligators in Transit"

Cornish Steve
I'm pleased to have found this one online. It's the truck that used to collect our garbage when we lived in south Florida. rubecula
