Lowensda
Today is exactly why I don't want him to be our number one GK. He makes basic errors like that too often to be more than a back-up keeper for me. duncanmckenzieismagic
StevO
Seems he was right last week when he said hero one week, zero the next.
smeghead1
Yes he made a hash of the first goal but let's be honest it should never have got to the point where he has to make the save. The ball should've been cleared way before it got anywhere near our goal and more to the point never lost in the first place.
MC11
Thought he was slow to react to the second as well.
c1982
Thought he was slow to react to the second as well. Seemed very similar (his positioning/ lack of dive) to the Benteke goal he conceded the other week.
Aidan
The Benteke goal was a great finish not poor goalkeeping.

Matt
Finished watching the 20 min "highlights"... bloody awful for the first, left in the lurch for the second but in both cases the ball should never have gotten as far as it did Lowensda
Paddock
He fucked up plain and simple, lets see how he picks himself up. He cost us next to fuck all and is an improvement on Howard. I agree with fruity MC, he was slow for the second also. To add insult to injury, I broke my little fucking toe booting a volvic bottle across the living room when their second went in, my follow through hit the coffee table. Fucking Everton ruin my life, walking round work all day in my socks.
markjazzbassist
not only was he cheaper than howard, he's been better than him. won't be perfect every week but he was 1m euro, not even 30m de gea is perfect every week. we still need the outfield players to perform and score goals. Matt
He's not as good as Howard 5 years ago, but yeah, I agree for the most part Sibdane
Btay
I can actually understand the first one. It's such a squib hit that's he's down too early, it comes through a sea of legs and he gets a hand out. Unfortunately it drops to the feet of Voakes and leaving it it would have dribbled out for a goal kick. I know I'm to easy on players but the good he's done far out weighs the poor. markjazzbassist
What is the injury and how long is he out for?
Elston Gunnn
What is the injury and how long is he out for? Koeman said on prematch that it was his foot. Didn't say how serious. With international break approaching, Koeman may have another tiff brewing with another international manager, as Stekelenburg is Netherlands #1. smeghead1
Robles did nothing wrong to be fair and played well but Stekelenburg doesn't deserve to lose his place imo.

BedfordBlue
Anyone who still thinks this guy should be in goal needs their head testing one of the worst keepers we have had. Gave chelsea a 2 nil lead and doesnt even dive for the 4th goal Edited November 5, 2016 by BedfordBlue

Gave chelsea a 2 nil lead and doesnt even dive for the 4th goal Don't think any fans think he should be our no 1. Our problem is we just don't have better. A keeper should be our priority in January. Romey 1878
My fears about him look well-placed. Never should've been made our number one in a million years. Only ever should've been our back-up. holystove
StevO
Joel probably should have kept his place after the clean sheet. New keeper in Jan please. Really liked the look of Pickford from today's 40 min highlight. Edited November 5, 2016 by StevO

Cornish Steve
I really don't get why we don't trust Joel as #1. His track record and stats are pretty good.
