I had a younger brother who died when he was three days old, I was completely unaware because I was only two but it's my earliest memory, talking to my brother about why there was a baby crying in the house; we decided it must be visiting cousins and went back to sleep. He (David) went straight to hospital so we never saw him; talking to my mum in later years she couldn't even go to the funeral so it was just my dad there. Don't know how anyone copes with that.
