Btay
2-0! Let's go boys. I want us to have the best defensive record in the league. Teams coming to play us, knowing we are hard to break down must be shitting themselves because we have an array of players we could play across the front 4 of whom if any one of them are "on" we will get goals. Exciting times.
Elston Gunnn
Halftime of the Chelsea-Liverpool match finds us in second place. But I prefer Chelsea recover and get a draw, pushing us temporarily back to third. We should be in second by tomorrow evening. Should. markjazzbassist

Elston Gunnn
"At least second" I gladly accept your friendly amendment, though I'm skeptical that Bournemouth can take even a point at tne Etihad.

milesey05
Such a good start.... Great result on Monday so we are all expecting a win...... Myself included. This is where we get let down as fans as our expectations are so high. Will take a scrappy 1 nil win if needed. Think this will be a tough game. London Blue
Boro will be tough, they will set out to defend and have a good striker up front. But I believe we have far too much for them to cope with and we will win 2 - 0. Hope the crowd really get behind the team and Ros if he plays. Finn balor
I think this will be a tougher game than I thought earlier in the week. They are quite well drilled defensively and their players are a bit of an unknown quantity. Hope I'm wrong and we smash em but one nil will do. Blue 250
Clean sheet and a couple more goals from Rom, no injuries, and a happy full house. It's all I ask.
Hafnia
3 points and a good performance. Couldn't give a shit who scores but I want all 11 players working together.
Bill
This could be a 4-0 romp. But I'd be happy with a clean sheet, then a deflected own goal or a penalty to give us three points. MikeO

Bill
Yeah I should be able to go to a few if I can get a decent seat, bit of a job to get a decent seat now, record season ticket sales mean the only seats that are left are rubbish. Isaiah
Showing trust in Barkley after Monday's sub. Hopefully RK had a good chat with him and told him what's expected.

EFC-Paul
What has dela done wrong to deserve the bench all the time? I've always thought he has more of an impact of the bench tbh against tired legs etc but that's just my observation Glad he's shown faith in Barkley he's a confidence player so hopefully the start along with an arm around him and a chat will do the trick Valencia to come on and score on his debut in the last 20.... 3-1 Rom Bolasie Valencia Edited September 17, 2016 by EFC-Paul
Aidan
What has dela done wrong to deserve the bench all the time? Weird one isn't it? One of a few things I'd say... He isn't fit enough to play 90 minutes so therefore he prefers to bring him on to run at (very) tired defenders after Bolasi has been waring them out. He might be fit enough and just prefer him as an impact sub either way. He might think that Barkley needs to plan in this game as he is more suited and he can't drop Bolasi or Mirallas because of their form. I also think that part of it is that Koeman sees the world class potential in him and he doesn't want to let Barcelona see that for obvious reasons. markjazzbassist
Great lineup. Barkley over Gerry means he had a word and said show me you're better. For Ross phones in this one Gerry will start over him I think. Not a last chance, but for now possibly. COYB
milesey05
COYB. Like the line up and the fact we have a decent bench. let's keep the pressure on City- love writing that sort of shit ;-)
