MikeO
Nine out of ten Rom buries that.
JoeQuince
Lukaku almost scores. Good save by Valdes. But, Rom need to get some lift on that
Matt
Davies has been brilliant. Right, Rom. Next time.
Shukes
What a tackle from Coleman. Great chance there for Rom. Good save.
JoeQuince
Rom and Lookman need to change their boots at half

JoeQuince
Lookman with some quick feet in the box. Injures Chambers with his shot. Barkley is running the show out there today. Doing a great job of exploiting the spaces they're leaving
Matt
It's almost like we're playing 253! Only the 2 CBs disappointing at the moment, the rest are making me fall in love with the game all over again. Barkely - Brilliant Davies - non-stop terrier and never backs away from a challenge Lookman - magic feet Schneiderlin - just glorious composure in defence and attack Gana - well, hes back in and back to normal Even Rom has been impressed, winning headers, linking up. markjazzbassist
Their strategy is hack and hammer Ross with fouls and defend. I hope we smash them. We've had a few chances just need to bury one

JoeQuince
I was bored watching that. Same here. We either need another wide player on (Mirallas) or to go 3-5-2 and push Baines and Coleman forward.

Aidan
Davies slide tackle was my favorite bit. Lookman has magic feet the turn he had when his shot was blocked was magic. Need to show more threat and intent going forward and a bit more respect in defence.
JoeQuince
Mirallas isn't on the bench sadly. Balls. Didn't even look at the bench today! I'm being that guy now. Fuck.
Matt
Balls. Didn't even look at the bench today! I'm being that guy now. Fuck.i can see Holgate coming on at some point, but no idea who for at the moment

JoeQuince
i can see Holgate coming on at some point, but no idea who for at the moment I would probably swap him for Gueye. He's had a few bright moments, but he's had equally as many scary ones.
pete0
I was bored watching that.Same here. We need a spark, and looked at the bench like most and thought shit. Edited February 11, 2017 by pete0

Cornish Steve
If we can go 3-5-3 that would be great but I think Boro might object to our having 12 players on the pitch - assuming we play a 'keeper too! Sorry, sarcasm mode off now. 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 is the way to go I think. Boro are not going to throw the kitchen sink at us but they are tricky to open up so I would go 3-4-3 Joel Holgate. Williams. Mori Colemam. Schneiderlin. McCarthy/Gana. Baines Barkley. Lukaku. Lookman/Mirallas Well, since the sarcasm font is on, are we allowed to play a woman like Colemam on the field? JoeQuince
I'd sacrifice Gueye too, but for Valencia or Lennon. Shame Dowell isn't on the bench. I feel like we might do better attackingwise to push Baines and Coleman up with a 3rd CB.

Ye Gana has been very weak in possession today. Seems to have given it away several times. Lucky there. That's three efforts in five minutes for them.
