Gives so much freedom to Gana and Davies and is always there to take the ball off defense. Keeps us calm and collected in the center of the park. Good defending on a few corners and seems to do well in getting in front of attackers. Seems ok on the ground to. My worry is when he is being ran at. Aidan Posted April 9, 2017 Report Share Posted April 9, 2017 Barkley's cross was sublime, really top top class stuff. Southgate is an absolute mug for treating him the way he does for England. Delle Alli just doesn't play those kind of balls and when England are playing sides that will sit deep and defend then they desperately need Barkley to unlock those dogged defences with wonderful crosses like that Ross needs to start scoring the amount of goals deli alli does and he has to edge it.
