JoeQuince
Didn't he say yesterday or so he had no idea about any of Reals interest? Yes. That's all that's come from Madrid. I think people have reading comprehension issues.

markjazzbassist
https://royalbluemersey.sbnation.com/2017/6/28/15888348/malaga-holding-up-sandro-move-to-everton-transfer-news-la-liga This is the first thing I've read that makes sense re:this transfer. thank you, i cut and pasted the most important part here: According to Sid Lowe of the Guardian, the deal has been agreed and signed with Everton but Malaga are yet to sign off the transfer. He adds that if they don’t do this by July 1st, when the transfer window officially opens, Everton will be unilaterally buying Sandro anyway because of the release clause in his deal. Regardless of this, Lowe insists that Sandro will be an Everton player and fans should not worry. Now, why Malaga are holding up the move is anyone’s guess. Presumably they are hoping to get Sandro’s replacement signed before he departs, making his exit a less bitter pill to swallow. Nonetheless, it seems there was nothing to worry about. Sandro will be an Everton player at some point this summer. Although it may take at least another two days for it to be official.

Paddock
Seems odd they would do that- they have absolutely zero to gain by doing that, alls they are doing is delaying the inevitable and alienating the player.

Bill
I did say further up the thread that it was my last word but ... he may well become an Everton player, but he most certainly isn't yet. This whole transfer saga has been a complete shambles, Fred karno springs to mind. For the younger generation who have not heard of Fred karno, Google it. Popular Post Peter H
I think that Everton have shown us how great the can be on transfers this Summer. Some great signings already done. Some Fantastic signings looking like they will happen. I know that they are trying to soften the blow of Lukaku leaving but im excited for next season. I think we will have a better troop in september 2017 than we had 2016. And thats even if Lukaku and Barkley leave. nyblue23, SimonButtle, nutmegwolf203 and 2 others

Paddock
So are we all agreed- come Monday we are past the 1st, the tournament is finished so there can be no more excuses?
Shukes
No. It's simple, his contract ends on the 3rd.... then there's no excuses.
Bailey
Thought he looked solid again tonight without being anything special. Good link up play, likes getting ball to feet and spreading it wide. Always on the move too. Needs to beef up a little to play up top on his own. Paddock
Paul - although I know you're joking but the window is now open and the tournament is over- the excuses of why he hasn't signed cannot go on much longer can they.
Bill
The last excuse they can use is that they hold his registration until the 3rd of July. After that he should sign, but to be honest I'm not sure he wants to, this was going to be announced two weeks ago. Lol. Still waiting. Hafnia
The whole panic episode around this lad is all down how shit the club have operated historically. He will be here no doubt about it.
Bill
What, Malaga or Everton Haf, two weeks ago everybody was convinced that he had signed, excuse number one for not signing .. he didn't want it to affect his concentration away from the under 23s. Couple of days later when he was still going to be announced, excuse number two .. it was the Spanish FA that didn't want him to upset their plans. Another couple of days and he's still being announced comes excuse number three .. It's Malaga who won't release the appropriate papers. Now if a club came in for me to play in the prem with a big club and probably double or treble my wages, i would snatch the pen off them and not give a shit about who I would upset. If we do get this Sandro, he will get my support as soon as he pulls on the Blue Shirt, but I hope to fook he's good enough to warrant all the shit we took over this transfer. Hafnia
Who is actually making the excuses though? It's not the club... it's all media noises from what I gather.
Bill
The excuses are there Haf whoever is making them. Top and bottom of it is they haven't been able to announce it, and I don't think he has actually signed yet. Newty82
This is what cracks me up about transfer windows. We lose the plot...all rationale goes out the window! Everton haven't said anything. Malaga haven't said anything. Sandro hasn't said anything. Yet, somehow, we get into a frenzy and get angry at Sandro. Everton. Malaga. The U21 tournament finished 12 hours ago and because he still hasn't signed, it's all emotional! Stop acting so weird about it all. If he comes, good. If he doesn't, we move on. Truth is, we on this forum know absolutely fuck all...so stop getting so stressed about it!!! Have a nice weekend!
