London Blue
I think he will be a very good signing for us, pace skill and a foil for our new striker or can play as part of an attacking 3. Can see Lookman going on loan if we get him.

Btay
Tosun up top with Walcott Siggy and Bolasie behind, surely have to start getting a shot on target then 🤔

Bailey
If he comes here then he will get my backing but whilst I don't think he will be a failure no matter what happens, IMO this isn'tt the type of signing that we should be pursuing and certainly not for the amount of money being talked about. aaron
I see this as more of a Lennon replacement, Lennon's contact is up in the summer isn'tt it? at 30 he hasn't got a lot of time at the top left, plus Walcott is a upgrade on him. Hafnia
Got pace and on his game he's a threat. Why not.
Peter H
Big yes from me. If he stays fit he will be a valuable addition to bolster our attack
EFC-Paul
As said an upgrade on Lennon, younger and more versatile with a better end product In a notoriously expensive window if it is for £20m then I'm all for it when you've got lads like Chamberlain £34m Sakho £24m Nathan Ike etc all going well for far more
Shukes
20m for a 28 year old experienced proven goalscorer and created. One who wants to fight for the World Cup and should, have something to prove. Still a good player and like many have said, an upgrade on what we have. Quinn31
Fuck off - His best days are behind him and lately he's only shown a knack for being injured... Does this mean Lookman will leave on loan or Lennon maybe? Then again, we just moved Mirallas out

JoeQuince
On a positive note, so many will have expectations so low that Walcott can only end up being a relative success at Everton.

Sibdane
I don’t think this will happen tbh.I didn't think so at first, but the fact Sam has been so open about our interest tells me otherwise. I don't think he would comment on a rumour like that unless there was some progression. I could be way off base though.
Newty82
Not a bad player to have on board really. A threat when he plays. Still has some years in him. Always thought Wengers stubbornness was the reason he didn't, or hasn't, done as well as he could/can. Can see the benefits of having him but also not arsed if we don't. Dunno, just doesn't feel as exciting as it should. Or something something something.
seve
If you open the gate at the park end he will be in stanley park before he looks up, never been able to cross a ball or pick a pass, a step backwards if we sign him Wont improve us one bit, we are just getting bolasie back, lets keep the right wing open for him. c1982
I’d see the wing spots as sorted for the next 18months (at least) with Bolasie and Walcott then Lookman and Vlasic waiting in the wings. We don’t have enough shots in games - a player like Walcott will see us create a lot more chances and get a lot more free kicks in the attacking 3rd in my opinion - this will bring more goals. I think he’ll surprise a few if or when it happens. EFC-Paul, StevO and Paddock

No real reason for me thinking that- I just think he’ll choose to stay down south. He’s defo an improvement on anything we have for me.
