Did they come back a week later than everyone else and failed to get up to fitness? I remember the one year we got off to a flying start under Moyes (2012-2013), he brought all the players back a week before anyone in the PL in order to try and change previous years (2009-2011) of horrid starts. We are the only team that City has dropped points to, and it was at the Etihad. Just think how differently our season might’ve gone had we been able to hold on for that victory.
