What are big Sam-esque players?

I presume he hasnt had much cash to spend before so has limited his opportunity to buy slightly more glamorous players?

He had more cash back in his Bolton days when they had a well off owner.

He surprised everyone back then with some of the quality he bought into Bolton.

We only need to buy two players in January, a top centre back and a top striker, we have plenty of players who can play everywhere else.

We definitely need some competition/cover for Baines. We went into the season with no back-up and Baines isn't the player he was.

You are happy with Martina at LB?

Difficult window to buy anybody so I think we will have to wait until summer.

But for January we need to go abroad to buy who we want,  if we buy a centre back it leaves Holgate free to play right back and Kenny to switch to the left back where he plays egually well.

After January we are looking to get Coleman and Bolasie back so there's plenty to play with.

Walsh needs to have a striker and defender lined up for the first day or the window- he’s had since end of September to sirt it- time to earn his wages and get the players in in the areas we are short.

Yep. Pretty much this.

The club should be working at obvious targets so come 1st Jan...Bang...got them!

Steven N'zonzi is said to be in London doing a spot of Christmas shopping.

Speculation is that is quite a coincidence seeing as he has fallen out with Sevilla at the moment and Sam Allardyce has taken over at Everton.

He'd be one hell of a signing. Big powerful midfielder who can dominate the game but is a very skillful player also.

We could do with some more physicality in midfield as well.

After watching kids last night I'm more convinced than ever that we don't need to panic in January. We should be aiming on bringing in genuine quality that will improve us long term, not stop gap panic buys. CF, CB, LB priorities, N'Zonzi a bonus. Would rather use kids as injury cover than more Cuco-type signings.

I would use a headless chicken before I signed another like him.

We are being linked to all sorts of strikers at the moment. I just hope the club have identified who they really want and is already negotiating now for the window opening.

Wouldn't be surprised if we have leaked that we are looking at other strikers like Aubameyang to close a deal early with our true target.

As long it is not some constantly injured donkey like Andy Carroll, I'll be happy.

It's a shame really, if he wasn't consistently injured he would be a top top striker.
