I literally don't even know where to start with this club at the moment. The rot started with Koeman but Unsy isn't good enough to stop it setting in further.

We need to get the cheque book out and put whatever figure is needed to get Silva or Dyche in. We can't wait for another game to pass. It's all a fucking shambles!

The rot started with Moshiri sacking Martinez and throwing his money around in the direction of Koeman and Walsh, like most rich pricks they think they can buy success without knowing what they are doing.

Martinez needed to be sacked.

I don't blame Unsworth for the shambolic squad that he inherited. He just isn't the man to get them going. I don't think any manager could get this side going.

The players that were brought in this summer don't fit into any system. Koeman wanted forwards to press from the front but he didn't sign any. Players like Sigurdsson and Schneiderlin are luxury players and are better suited when a team has lots of possession.

We can't press from the front because our defence is so old and slow, as soon as someone gets out of position we are fucked.

We won't stay in the Premier League with a squad that is either the wrong side of 30 or under 23. The players in their prime are not performing either.

Moshiri has to spend in January, no matter the cost it will be a lot more expensive to get relegated.

This is Mike Walker all over again. I rememebr his last game in charge. Everton 1-0 west ham. Gary abblett goal. He said"the axe had turned" or something stupid like that. I can see unsworth last game on Wednesday. New manager in after that.

I started really following Everton when he was in charge. This is part of the reason I’m usually so optimistic and patient. But fuck me, im being tested more than I can remember

Unbelievable shit sandwich. Unsworth cannot get the best from them - its a fact. So what if he thinks they are giving everything - they are not playing smart or with any courage.

We need some fresh faces who haven't dropped their bundle - Coleman, Bolasie and Barkely returns can't come fast enough. Just remove Scheniderlin and Gana need a wake-up call - McCarthy would be a way better option for me when fit.

Williams atrocious and Kenny is not experienced enough to be put in this position.

We were absolute shite going forward - I think we would have been better off with Rooney on the pitch, at least some experience and composure on the ball.

DCL, Lennon and Mirallas were not even visible. Should have taken one off for Ramires - at least he scored mid-week and may have had some small semblance of confidence.

Rubbish!

Unsworth may be a club legend and 'get' the club, but what do the likes of Williams, Schneiderlin et al care about that, they couldn't motivate themselves to play for Koeman after all.  It makes it worse that he is Everton through and through because he can't understand why the players don't want to give their all.  His management of the team is through that the Blue prism of being a Toffee.  I don't doubt that Unsy has given it his best, but he clearly doesn't have a clue about how to organise the team or get them playing.  From the manager to the players, no-one knows what they are supposed to be doing, many of the players don't care.

What's worse is that between Kenwright and Moshiri it's the same.  I bet you Ken wants (and understands) that you need a Allardyce, or a Dyche, who will organise but Moshiri want s a glamour signing, Moshiri has paid his fucking cash after all.  After all, the board and backroom staff are fairly new too.  They need to fucking decide and lead, get a new manager in and recognise that we are in the shit.  For me that means Allardyce (still) or Pulis on, a 2 year contract, none of this end of the season bollocks.  Ugly reality, but that's what is needed.  I love Silva, but I reckon he'd be on a hiding to nothing with the state going on behind the scenes.

Summary:  Manager this week.  Allardyce or Pulis.  Otherwise we are doomed.

We must have the three worst centre backs in the league, and the worst mids.

The centre's don't know what each other are doing, and today the only time I seen Gana was when he lost the ball, and I didn't see Schneiderlin at all, was he playing today.  ??.

No doubt Unsy wants the best for the club, but sitting around with an angry face in the first half wasn't getting anything done. At least stand up and coach/show some passion from the sideline.

I will briefly repeat my point of view (unpopular with some): Everton have -

1) a manager problem. Look what the WestBrom caretaker manager managed to do at Tottenham.

2)a captain problem. We look like rudderless team.

3)a squad problem (out of balance), not playing as a team and for the team

4)an experience problem - too many youngsters. We look and play like an under 23 side.

5)a commitment problem - senior players not pitching up, just going through the motions.

6)a striker problem

7)a nr 10 problem - no service, no link, no distribution

8)a passing problem - can't string 5 passes together

9)an attitude problem. Most players  play like they are on a go slow strike ala end of Martinez-era. Some players think they are bigger than the game/club.

10)10 defensive problems - too many to mention.

We are staring down the relegation barrel big time. Total makeover required urgently. Rather sooner than later.

I'd be looking at Ben Gibson to bring into the defence. Can play in a 2 or a 3 and can cover at left back of needs be.

We've missed out on good players like Harry Maguire and bought a lemon in Michael Keane.

With Baines out we have 0 left footers in the squad. We need a left back and a left midfielder.

We need pace and strength in all of the key positions. Striker, centre mid and centre back. We need players that can recover quickly and use their physicality to protect the ball and bring people into play.

There is so much wrong with this squad right now. Why did we let Oviedo go without having a replacement?

I posted this before.  Son and Grandson went to Southampton.  Grandson got the train from Liverpool to Coventry and son drove from Nottingham to Coventry to pick him up. They then drove to Southampton and did the same coming back.  All they saw was a group of overpaid footballers who didn't earn their vast wages. My son paid a not insignificant sum of money to watch this useless shower.  They should be ashamed of themselves.

Why? I keep asking you, who do you want coming in? You haven't got an answer so stop being a gobshite.

I've plenty of answers, whether we could get them is another matter. You on the other hand are a complete cockend who keeps posting the same shite. There's managers capable of getting us out of this relegation battle so shut the fuck up with your depressive shit. Thankfully it's still pretty early on in the league

7 chances in the whole match. 7!

Never mind on target, that’s any chances.

Teams have training off when they are facing us. Defenders can have a few days off.

I'll post what I like you Muppet. You say I post the same old shite? How many times did you make that David Underpants 'joke' before you realised it made you look like a complete cretin?

Don't understand why people reply to posters to slag them off when they have no intention of engaging in debate. You don't like what I say? I couldn't give two fucks. But don't waste my time and yours if you've got nothing better to offer to the debate than saying 'I've got lots of answers' and calling people cockends.

Put this result in real perspective.

Soton have been known this season to be dull and toothless. They'd scored 9 league goals before today. They've scored 4 today, dominated possesson and had more shots than they know what to do with!

That's how shocking we are.

Now you gents can argue amongst yourselves that this player doesn't do that, or that player doesn't do this, based on your own prejudice.

Truth is, bar Kenny, we have a full team of players that are not doing the bare basics correctly. We can't pass more than a few yards, the tracking is half hearted, the marking deplorable, pressing half hearted, challenges heartless. The list goes on.

Players need to stand up. Not just player A or player B. All of them.

Pathetic what they've done today. Pathetic.

Its the half heartedness that kills me. You can bet in training they are sprinting, but when it comes to came day they are ambling around like they are on a country stroll. This needs to come from the big name, experienced players in the squad too. They should be screaming at people to get stuck in. When I play 5 a side and I see someone giving too much space or bottling a 50/50 you can get your fucking arse that they are going to know about it. We went through a spell of bottling 5 or 6 50/50's and no-one said a word, just Unsworth on the sideline looking like he was going to spit feathers.

Mirallas - fuck off

schneiderlin - fuck off

williams - fuck off

the “senior” players are the players who are supposed to be standing up but they can all fuck off. Utterly livid. My calm and patience have been replaced with utter, unequivocable anger

I actually thought these 3 were some of the better 'attitudes' today. Keane was fucking shambolic not being tight enough, Gana just too lazy.Mirallas was doing a lot of closing and a lot of covering, especially when we were playing 4-4-2. Williams was the one stepping up, trying to be more aggressive and Schneiderlin was trying to cover 2 mens work because Gana couldnt hold his position. I watched Schneiderlin closely at times and he was in the places I expected him to be.

Spot on, money doesnt buy success.

I always said that I never wanted a money man to come in and buy all these big name players because that isnt the Everton way. We need to be able to keep our big players, and then build around them to create a young hungry team and not a group of players that are here for an inflated cheque.

I've posted in the other thread Unsworth can't carry on, I can admit when I'm wrong. But what do you do but throw around snide comments and carry on like you're some sort of genius with all the answers?

Are people really saying Martinez didn't deserve the sack?

I think he should have been given another year with the new regime, Moyes had many poorer seasons than 11th and he was never threatened with the sack, put it another way if hadn't been sacked I don't think would be staring down both barrels of the relegation shot gun.

He had one season poorer than 11th in fact.

Moyes finished 17th in his first season and 11th once. Worst finish beyond that was 8th
