It’s only an assist if the recipient can put it away. Has anyone noticed how much Shite fans rate Trent Alexandra? He’s a world beater at the moment. Well Digne isn't far behind with chances created. Yes he’s having a bad season. All it needs is a forward to put a few away and his assists (which are exactly the same) go up in numbers. Heath Posted December 15, 2019 Report Share Posted December 15, 2019 I felt it was a poor decision to play Digne against Man Utd today and was surprised to see him in the starting 11 if I'm honest. Even the mildest of groin injuries can flare up again fairly easily with a bit of an over stretch to block through a ball, etc. Mind you, it was nice to see Baines rolling back the years and pushing forward now and then.
