Sorry Bailey but I can't agree with that. There is clear contact with the ball before there's contact with the man. It's not like he's gone in hard so there's no argument about it being out of control or dangerous, it's a little toe poke away. It's a fair tackle, it has always been a fair tackle in the rules of the game, it's a very poor decision from a ref who was in no position to give it.

Fair enough thats your opinion. If I was Gana I would feel hard done by.

In fairness to the ref it would have definitely looked a pen from his angle.

I may be in a minority but I think Richarlison puts in a real good shift up front.

Don't think his work rate is in question, just don't think it suits him as much as playing out wide.

Sigurdsson is doing what I feared, couple of good games, then nothing.

where are the walcott backers now?  2 goals to blame him

Neither goal is his fault in my opinion, he has got into some good positions but made poor decisions, he also put some good balls into the box.

Playing a 6/10.

Anyone noticed that Zooma is constantly not in position? I don't know what he's trying to do, but he's leaving a man behind way too often.

Don't know about constantly. But yes, he could mark a good deal better.

Gomes is our player of the match so far.

You reckon?  I think he's shown some nice touches but he hasn't been at the races at all for the most.  I do think he'll be a great player for us though.

Pickford MOTM so far.  Without him, we'd be getting thrashed.

I think it would definitely suit him more out wide but we have a squad of talented wide players and he can add more to the team as a striker, albeit not if Bernard plays like he has done the last couple of weeks!

I actually think Siggy has done as much as he probably could. Both him and Richie could do with more help from the wide men.

Always available for a pass, constantly looking for the ball, and finds a teammate with a pass.

This. His quality on the ball, especially riding a challenge is undeniable but the Utd midfield has dominated him and Gana.

I don't really remember Richarlison having any clear scoring chances since moving to CF, whereas when he's on the wing he gets in great positions arriving late. Our wide men have been poor last two games, so surely it makes sense to play him in his natural position? And we've got options at CF, DCL and Tosun both scored last week.

That is of course until he won that pen haha.
