Coleman is looking lively.

Where have you found to look at him?  All I am reading is Omar hustles, and just misses. Nice control by Omar, hits woodwork etc lol

Might have had 3.  Set up by a perfect layoff from Mirallas (!), Walcott’s somewhat timid shot saved off the line by Monaco defender.  And near the end, Davies hit woodwork.  Both should have scored.

Still think Niasse could score 4-5 goals and get/save us points as 70-75th minute sub.  His lovely flick-shot over GK might have gone in on its own even if Coleman hadn’t headed it in.  Hard to tell from camera angle.

McCarthy gets a foot in regularly.  Might still help us, though I guess he’s off?

Digne, Coleman solid all match.

Walcott looks ready for the season to start tomorrow, Davies not too shabby either with a nice effort at the end. On the other hand Monoco look more league one than ligue 1 with very little quality other than pace, apart from Fabregas who has it the other way round.

I have a theory that it was Kev's long lost twin brother and Kev is locked in a kit-room somewhere, no way does the real Mirallas not take on the shot

Maybe he knows he is a fullback, and attackers are the ones to shoot?

Well they did finish 17th last season so no big surprise really.

Yeah, he’s probably way more upset with Walcott than was Walcott with himself for the missed shot.  No more layoffs for Theo.  No matter where (or whether) Mirallas plays this season, the searing memory of his missed assist augurs ill for wide-open teammates.

Line-up confirmed vs. Wigan.

I imagine this is the lineup we'll see at the start of the season except for maybe Richarlison over Walcott. Mina's status is still up in the air also.

i would rather see morgan in there than delph.  if morgan is staying why did we buy delph?  maybe morgan is being sold?

maybe silva wants him to get used to the squad as soon as possible, also imagine he hasnt played any pre season games for city, but might be wrong.

Have you got to be a member to purchase the games on Everton TV now?

edit: just went on the FAQ to find out you do have to be a member. What a piss take pre season games should be free.

Have they ever been?

Not from memory. Used to be 4 quid a pop or if you purchased 3 or 4 you'd get it at a discounted rate.

I'm not paying 30 quid for a membership they're not worth it.

Many more important benefits than pre-season access from membership, priority ticket window being the main one for us distance supporters. £30 well spent for me.

Never normally have an issue getting tickets off StubHub, plus friends and family members have spares most of the time so can't justify 30 just to watch 2 pre season games as I've been working for the first few.

Delph quietly impressing.

Mina very loudly looking clumsy. Makes Niasse look like a ballerina.

Digne as usual.

Bernards balls are not quite hitting the mark at the min.

Fair enough, I'm not lucky enough to have local friends/family and I've never had to use StubHub, don't like the ethos of the company and similar ones tbh.

Not so sure, completely missed the ball and very nearly cleared the player out.

I may be being harsh though 😉

On the challenge that had the cross from Robinson, yes, that could've been bad. There was one before that he did well on.

It's not ideal with people extorting others on it, but the vast majority of the tickets I've got off there are a lot cheaper than what I'd pay on the official website.

Walcott hasnt improved! Shocking ball from an initial good run and then runnings yards off side when the passer wasnt ready for it. Type of thing you expect from a kid.

Edit: Plus an easy through ball.
