Finn balor
Good move that started by Bernard. Digne was unlucky with that volley from the corner kick

Finn balor
Great move should have been two but can’t blame Walcott good defending on the line
MikeO
Mirallas unselfish (not two words you see next to each other often) on the break there, could've been two.

Sibdane
Luck only gets you so far. We need actual skill. DCL is good, but not good enough at the moment. Romey 1878
Elston Gunnn
Might have had 3. Set up by a perfect layoff from Mirallas (!), Walcott’s somewhat timid shot saved off the line by Monaco defender. And near the end, Davies hit woodwork. Both should have scored. Still think Niasse could score 4-5 goals and get/save us points as 70-75th minute sub. His lovely flick-shot over GK might have gone in on its own even if Coleman hadn’t headed it in. Hard to tell from camera angle. McCarthy gets a foot in regularly. Might still help us, though I guess he’s off? Digne, Coleman solid all match. pete0
Walcott looks ready for the season to start tomorrow, Davies not too shabby either with a nice effort at the end. On the other hand Monoco look more league one than ligue 1 with very little quality other than pace, apart from Fabregas who has it the other way round. No more layoffs for Theo. No matter where (or whether) Mirallas plays this season, the searing memory of his missed assist augurs ill for wide-open teammates. Sibdane
Line-up confirmed vs. Wigan. I imagine this is the lineup we'll see at the start of the season except for maybe Richarlison over Walcott. Mina's status is still up in the air also.
