Only one I wouldn't really agree with would be Rooney. Jags, Cahill, and Baines definitely deserve them though.

10 years service is the minimum criteria to be considered. I think the clubs still have the discretion to give you one or not.

Jags and Baines, that is all.

Traditionally the games were done to give long serving players a decent wedge when they retired, not needed now with the wages they earn so they're purely symbolic with any cash earned going to charity.

I think you will find that players for lower leagues will still pocket the money from their testimonials.
