Not quite;

KEAN CLOSE TO EVERTON MOVE

Sky sources understand the transfer of Moise Kean to Everton from Juventus is now close to completion.

The deal could be formally announced today with the striker having already undergone a medical.

Please God lets just get this one done, then we can celebrate and move on to the 4 other players we need to sign!

CONFIRMED!!!

I've never doubted Silva and Brands throughout this summer and as expected they continue to deliver. Gbamin through the door who can either play in the midfield replacing Gueye or dropping back into the more natural centre-back position to provide cover. The striker we have been screaming for is announced too, an absolute steal for a 19 year old kid who has been banging them in since hitting the big time, always a threat for Juventus whenever he played and did alright with Verona too. I'm convinced that this is finally the replacement for Lukaku and can't wait to see him at Goodison.

People were flapping about absolutely nothing with this one.

Until he misplaces a few passes or fails to control a few balls...

anyway, this is the bit I thought most interesting:

Sky Sports News understands there is no buy back clause in the deal with Juventus.

I hope he proves me wrong.  Glad to have him but worried he will just be another tosun niasse foreign leaguer who can’t make the PL grade.

Not an unreasonable thing to worry about but with that thought in mind the only players you’d feel good about are proven premier league strikers and that is a very short list.

Oumar Niasse came from the Russian league with Lokomotiv Moscow and Cenk came from the Turkish league with Besiktas, both countries being far inferior footballing wise to Italy's Serie A.

Kean has a brilliant goal to game ratio when you consider how young he is and the league that he has played at. The Serie A is arguably the most technical of all and therefore one of the hardest to score consistently as a forward, to do what he has done and burst onto the scene at 19 is impressive and had it not been for Cristiano Ronaldo up front for Juventus, they would have kept him. Heck, even the Juventus fans wanted him to stay!

Don't worry mate, we've got a diamond here.

He’s also spent some time with one of the best players ever. Hoping he was paying attention in training!

The difference is that he played for one of the best teams in Europe, in Italy, not in the Russian or Turkish leagues. The leap will be nowhere near as great.

Unsure if I read it on article from here or fb but he said he stayed at Juve rather than a loan as he wanted to train with Ronaldo and that he studied him in training.

I read that as well. I like to read the other forums when we are linked to a player and while some of their fans concede that selling him was a necessity given his contract situation and desire to play 1st team football consistently they are all in consensus that he has huge (100m+) potential and are disappointed to see him go. There are a large % that are absolutely livid at his departure/the fee. Make of that what you will.
