LeeTino8
Everton have agreed to play League One side Bournemouth in a friendly fixture on Saturday 27 January. The Toffees had a blank weekend because of our FA Cup exit but David Moyes has promised to send a strong squad to the south coast for the match. Bournemouth, who are fourth from bottom in the League One table, were due to play a domestic match on that day but their opponents, Blackpool, are still involved in the Cup. It will be the first time that Everton have played at the Fitness First Stadium, which was constructed on the site of The Cherries' previous home, Dean Court. Everton last played Bournemouth in a League Cup tie back in 1985 when a 3-2 win at Goodison and a 2-0 success at Dean Court earned us a safe passage into Round Three. Ticket details for the friendly, which is a 3pm kick-off, have not yet been finalised but once they have, all information will be posted on evertonfc.com. result i live a stone throw away ..... anyone coming down for this one we can hit the town after pretty good place for a night out ... Bill
Thought they had already arranged a friendly in Europe somewhere, to have a look at this Gieger fella. ?? PS... Bournemouth and Boscombe United were once the team with the longest name in the football league. Dont think they call themselves that anymore, or do they. anybody know.???
