Turner On Loan To The Owls

From the official site...Feb 17th..

Howard is now an Everton player, with the contract signed this week replacing the season-long loan deal agreed with Manchester United last summer.

Surely Manure can have no control over which of our players play against them?! Can't believe the club would allow a clause to that effect being included in the contract!

Evening Chaps,

Just like to say thanks to Everton FC for the loan of Ian Turner. He came into the team at a time when confidence was low after a poor January through to the beginning of February, since then we have gone unbeaten and remarkably we are now only 2 points from the playoffs.

Now I've followed Wednesday long enough to know not to get carried away as it will come to nothing, but with 2 games to go and be in with a shout is fantastic, especially when you look back to October when Paul Sturrock was sacked. We were only out of the relegation zone on goal difference.

It's a shame Turner has been recalled due to the Man Utd game as I don't have any confidence in our number 2 (Chris Adamson and Mark Crossley has gone back to Fulham even though we are paying 1/2 of his wages) as we are away at Brum this week, but it was good while it lasted.

So thanks again and lets hope that there's a chance we can get him on a season long loan in the summer.
