MikeO Posted August 23, 2005 Report Share Posted August 23, 2005 I hate to back up RS but the truth is that if we go out tomorrow we go into the first round of UEFA, which is eighty teams playing for forty group places, the second leg of which is on Sept 29th I think, so we could conceivably be out in Sept. Don't know what the seeding system is for the draw but there are some teams we would seriously hope to avoid (Deportivo, Espanyol, Osasuna, Sampdoria, AS Roma, VfB Stuttgart, Bayer Leverkusen, Auxerre, AEK Athens, AZ Alkmaar, Feyenoord and Galatasary spring out), none unbeatable but a bit of luck in the draw would help this time...not that I've conceded Villarreal yet!!!!
