Zed Posted July 20, 2007 Report Share Posted July 20, 2007 So, with most of the premiership splashing the cash, what are our estimations on how much money we SHOULD have Considering the TV rights money has doubled We should have about the same as we could have spent last summer, say 13-15 MIL, add on top of that the extra TV money We should have well over 20 MILLION to spend, shouldn't we??? I was also thinking the same at the start, but listening and reading everything that is coming out of everton. I agree that we probably only have around the 10 mill max that has been said by many. which i thinks a joke with the money thats coming in to the game. i honestly think some of this money is going to the stadium, even thou they are sayin that tesco are offering alot of money upfront. me personally would like to know where all the money thats coming in has gone to, if moyes only has 10 mill to spend Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Exactly, I could guess 100mil, but, you can make an educated assesment of the situation If you look at it fiscally then we should at minimum have the same as last year plus the extra TV money, as Evertons budget is based on going out of the cups in round one and finishing fourth from bottom.We did better than last year financially (probably) so my understanding would mean somewhere in the region of 20-25 mil Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Bluetrip Posted July 21, 2007 Report Share Posted July 21, 2007 A lot of the papers reported the least a team in the Premeiership would be getting this year from TV rights was £30m plus whatever each league position gets you, last year it was £500k per. Then you have the £12-13M from season ticket sales and the sale of Davies in January and Naysmith. We reportedly have double the debt from when Johnson was bought out and have invested only 5 and a half million on the balance of transfers since. Lets just put our trust in Bill right? SimonButtle Posted July 21, 2007 Report Share Posted July 21, 2007 it's hard to guess, but you would expect moyes to have at least £10m to spend based on last seasons performance and the fact we qualified for europe. but certain people at the club are determined to move stadia, and that means we need a £30m deposit, and we all know that our chairman has got sweet fa, so we need to save it from our winings and TV money etc. It's a case of whether or not you think we should build a team/squad, or new stadium first.
