Expected Formation

Having seen the transfer activity over the summer, and the kind of players we have declared an interest in, I assume we'll be reverting back to 4-5-1?? I haven't got a proboem with this as it has proved very successful in recent times.

 

Something like:

 

Howard

 

Hibbert/Jagielka, Lescott, Yobo, Baines

 

Osman/Pienaar, Neville, Carsley, Arteta

 

Cahill

 

AJ

 

With likes of Vaughan, Anichebe, Stubbs, McFadden,VDM ( ) providing the back up/rotation

 

That sound about right??? have I missed anyone really obvious? ()

In an ideal world I would like to have the VDM we thought we were buying on the left, added attacking nature to enable Arteta or pienaar come into there favoured position (central)

 

shame Cahill is injured doesnt look quite so good without him and any othe rInjuries it get more and more defensive
