However, wont go in to that. 1 point, when the conversation settled was the he said BAINES reminds him a bit of the Great RAY WILSON. Now im an Owl arse, but Wilson was just before my time in the era of no video etc etc etc. So older blues ( Bill etc) who recollect whats ure take on that statement ? LEIGHTON BAINES. Really just a novice to the game at the mo, but will get better, and will be a regular England player within two years. Pat Posted October 22, 2007 Author Report Share Posted October 22, 2007 Yeh i should have been more clear as in he didnt rate him as GOOD, but said had some potential & in glimpses reminded off, whilst as I say, ive only seen fleeting clips of Wilson play, so cant offer an informed opinion.
