Captaining the side is different to being official club captain though isn't it? Thought. Wouldn't have Dave Watson been club captain during that time? MikeO Posted January 16, 2008 Report Share Posted January 16, 2008 Dave Watson was made first team captain in January 1992, succeeding Kevin Ratcliffe. As he was at the club 'til 2001 and Horne was only there from 92 to 96 that'd suggest that, even though he did captain the team on the pitch he was never Club Captain.
