  1. Neither is very good on the right. Buying Grealish is like when Walsh & Co bought all those #10s. Just because you can, you shouldn't. There are at least six positions that need strengthening before LM.

    Summer Transfer Window

I think Bernard and Iwobi could be ok from the left. Iwobi needs to up his game but we aren't going to write him off after one disjointed season. We definitely need a centre half, a centre mid and then a right winger. We could probably get by without a full back replacement (assuming Baines stays another year). As to who goes, as long as it's not Pickford, Digne, Gomes, Richarlison or Bernard I probably won't lose too much sleep over it.

I just don’t think Iwobi is going to be the answer. I liked how direct he seemed when he first arrived, now I’m just disappointed.

The left winger coming inside a lot has been a clear tactic since we’ve had Ancelotti. He likes his right winger wide and direct (that’s why Walcott has been important) and the left winger to come in field more - something Iwobi and Bernard can do (I think this role would suit Gordon too). Walcott may still have a role next season but I can certainly see a rapid and direct right winger being a priority signing.

    General Election

' The Salvation Army are not known for their radical views. But they are the latest organisation to warn that the forced movement of claimants from ESA to UC is a disaster waiting to happen. Researchers for the Salvation Army found that 85% of their users struggled to complete a UC claim. 42% said that mental health issues were the main reason they had problems claiming UC. The Salvation Army is warning that there is now overwhelming evidence that unless the government provide more support for people to apply, vulnerable people will struggle to access their benefits.

  7. By 'Democrats' I was referring to the people who vote in the primaries, not the candidates (who I assume are all principled and genuinely believe they are the best person to lead the USA). If you are voting in the primary, you might prefer Sanders because his agenda is the most 'left' (purity), but you should be aware once the general public get to vote, they might think your candidate too extreme (electability);

    Djibril Sidibé

Hopefully I can help you dear chap. The following is based on playing right back when starting games this season: Sidibe Expected goals per 90 0.01 Expected assists per 90 0.14 Key Passes per 90 mins 0.82 Coleman Expected goals per 90 0.07 Expected assists per 90 0.13 Key passes per 90 mins 0.57 Kenny (Shalke) XG90 = 0.03 XA90 = 0.05 KP90 = 0.58 FWIW it was a worse for Kenny last season with us. I would say that both Kenny and Coleman are far superior defenders to Sidibe. We might get negligible gains in attacking ter

  9. So what you're saying is that people should not stand for office based on their principles and what they believe to be right, they should just say and do what the electorate (for which read tabloid press) want? Might as well just make Rupert Murdoch PM and do away with the election palaver.

  10. We already have Bernard & Iwobi for that position so rather spend that money on a right winger. Brands won't have hundreds of millions to spend and LM is way down in the priority list.

    Gylfi Sigurðsson

He’s never suited how we play. I still have no idea why we bought him.

    André Gomes

Roger that. How would you rate Ian 'Beefy' Botham and Gomes at it with Robin GIbb watching from inside a wardrobe?

Gylfi will often move from space to get himself marked. It's remarkable when you watch it happen week after week. I can't believe that Ancelotti hasn't seen through him yet. I know we're not exactly blessed for options but while Davies may not have the technical ability he never hides, so he'd already be a step up.

    André Gomes

Interesting ... what level would it be if he got wanked off by Peter Ebdon and the lead singer of Echo and the Bunnymen was watching?

    Morgan Schneiderlin

I thought he was the best of the midfielders who started the game, not exactly high praise I know.
