I was looking at the year he registered, 2003! He had been with us over 20 years. When I read 'ToffeeLicker', it brought back some memories.
I think he was a big reason why people returned to the site as Matt said. He was a trusted members of the site, so much so, that he was among the first to be made an admin. I was looking at my emails and in 2010, he was helping obtain the sponsorship deal with Kitbag. A year later, he was adding an arcade to the site where you could be sure to find him on the leaderboards.
I don't remember having any big disagreements with him. Unfortunately, it was the removal of arcade that led to Bill getting frustrated and starting his own forum but he would return later in time
Condolences to Patto and family. -

QuoteThe Treasury’s sanctions police have been reviewing the finances of the Everton Football Club owner, Farhad Moshiri, the Guardian understands.
Moshiri appears to have become a person of interest to the Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI) because of his links to Alisher Usmanov, the Russian-Uzbek billionaire who was sanctioned by the UK, the EU and the US after last year’s invasion of Ukraine.

I found this interview with John Tolkin, a New York Red Bulls player. He's an Evertonian. He talks about Baines and Pickford in this.

Don't get the Denise line either
I was thinking that, I've seen a few posts on Twitter complaining about her but I don't know what she's supposed to have done.

Former Manchester United and Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon is fronting a consortium who have entered talks to try to buy Everton.
Kenyon is part of a group that includes chief executive of Minneapolis-based Talon Real Estate Maciek Kaminski and American businessman John Thornton, and is being advised by investment specialist Michael Klein, along with the US law firm Weil, Gotshal and Manges.
It is understood heads of terms have been signed although talks are described as being at a “relatively early stage”, with owner Farhad Moshiri believed to value Everton in excess of £500million, taking into account the club’s debt.
The consortium may want guarantees that Everton will not face a points deduction or heavy fine over Financial Fair Play issues before entering into a legally-binding agreement, but the club have always insisted they have not broken regulations.
...
Klein, who, like Kaminski, has been approached for comment, was an adviser to the Sir Martin Broughton-fronted bid to buy Chelsea. The group made the final shortlist, but missed out to the Todd Boehly-led consortium.Thornton is the executive chairman of Barrick Gold, one of the world’s largest mining companies with a net worth of £31billion, and non-executive chairman of PineBridge Investments, having stepped down as co-president of Goldman Sachs in 2003.

Al Jazeera have just released a documentary about Christopher Samuelson. He was the head of the Fortress Sports Fund who was attended the Everton AGM in 2004 and at one point was thought to be close to investing in the club.
