  1. Apart from Newcastle (which is clearly a personal issue that will stick with him) it’s probably about three years since he’s fucked up.
  2. I was in the stadium. Want to know what I heard? I heard tens of thousands of Evertonians clapping every fucking time he kept us in the game. The same as every other game he plays.
  3. More open and honest communication from Kevin. https://www.evertonfc.com/news/3831090/thelwell-on-everton-january-transfer-window-future-plans
  4. Exactly my point, but I think you didn’t detect my sarcasm (our previous owner said the club was for sale for 20 years). I’m sure there have been plenty more prior to Moshiri who wanted to buy us too.
  5. Well depending who you want to believe only Moshiri and 777 have wanted to buy the club in the last 20+ years.
  6. Ornstein reporting that FCA have approved 777, so just waiting for the football authorities now.
  7. But back then she had a lovely pair. I’m sure they are still lovely now to be fair.
  8. I’ve had my tea, but I could just do a curry now. A place near ours does a house dish called chilli chicken zinger, it’s so good. They just don’t give enough. Back before my missus had a kid and turned vegetarian we used to go there and order three dishes and share them. For about four years we never knew which was which, but it was all so good. With a Kingfisher on draft. Im going to be starving all night now.
  9. Wouldnt surprise me if his release clause is a lot less with a relegation. His no fee loan was tied to relegation, so hopefully they did something daft like £30m but £5m if they arent in the Prem, thinking they would be fine. Wishful thinking.
  10. Keane and Godfrey were both excellent and I’m very happy for them. That said, I thought Tarky was a powerhouse and kept the whole team organised and focused. Fantastic leadership from him tonight.
  11. Of course it’s a different league. If you go into receivership though, you may end up in a situation where the club is technically a new company. This is what happened with Rangers. A new company would have no claim to a place in the Premier League. It wouldn’t be a case of a punishment, just that a newco would be just that.
  12. Meanwhile, the rest of us enjoy four wins on the bounce and four clean sheets.
  13. In that scenario we could be moved to the bottom tier like Rangers.
  14. I said to my mate I’m going to sell my second ticket to pay off the mortgage.
  15. Don’t leave it too late. With each passing game the demand will only increase.
  16. That’s all well and good, Matt. But has anyone considered my knees in this? I’m too tall to do an extra six months in Gladys street. The last 20 years with my knees against the seat in front of me have taken a toll, I need to move asap!!
  17. Im not happy about it, but at least we know now and the club has plenty of time to get it right.
  18. Well FourFourTwo is a production thats been around for decades (at least since i was in high school so thats about 30 years), so i'd expect it to be very professional as its part of a major media and publishing house. ToffeeTV is a channel started and run by two Everton fans, thats grown enough for them to leave their jobs and do it for a living from a small studio in Liverpool. And they employ more Evertonians to work for them. They arent a professional media outfit, so not really fait to compare the two in my opinion. If you want to compare ToffeeTV then go and watch Falcon Blues TV, View From the Bullens or The Toffee Blues as they are also fan channels.
  19. Our Hummel shirts are £65 for adults, £50 for kids. Rangers Castore shirts are £70 for adults, £55 for kids. But what I really dont like, and some other manufacturers are doing this now, is they sell a replica shirt and a pro shirt. You just know kids will want the pro shirt. A kids pro shirt is £105, if your kid is in adult sizes (so probably just a teenager) the adult pro shirt is £115. The whole idea of selling a pro and a replica is purely to extract more money from the fans. For Hummel, the shirt we buy in the shop is not a replica shirt, its the same shirt the players wear. Our Hummel infant kit is £45, Rangers Castore infant kit is £55. In terms of quality, my Hummel shirts have all been absolutely fine. Same quality as our previous Umbro and Nike shirts, no issues at all. My daughter has had four kits so far (one more wrapped up for Christmas) the first one had a melted Hummel badge (swapped at the shop with no question) and on the current one the button/popper came off and again swapped at the shop (this one had name and number on the back and they just did it straight away). I see no issue with quality with Hummel at all. For balance, Castore sorted the issue the Villa players had with their shirts pretty quickly. Though I expect those players had the "pro" shirt, which I would never pay so much extra to say its a pro shirt anyway, so I dont care. I really dont care who makes the shirt, as long as they dont take the piss out of the fans and it looks good. I've never paid more than £60 for one of our shirts, I think I wont be buying any for more than that.
  20. This is where the club need to negotiate to protect the fans a bit, as well as making a good deal commercially.
