  1. I agree. But if we find a winger who works as hard as Harrison, gets as many chances as Danjuma, and finish like Mirallas, he’s probably going to cost about £85m and sign for City.
  2. I hate this thread already. Hope he signs for Sevilla now.
  3. So frustrating isn’t it? He seems to get loads of chances, which is a very good thing, but he’s got to score some of them.
  4. That is a great, and fair, tackle. Just like the one Dom got sent off for.
  5. No pun, but he’s a decent talent. Sorry lads.
  6. They are the two biggest talkers on the pitch. They have a chat at the end of every game. Go and see Tarky talk about Pickford and his shouting on Ben Fosters podcast. He’s not bothered about it at all. By this line of thought, if Coleman comes back into the team does Tarky need to stop shouting at players? Pickford himself, and other players, have all been quoted about his shouting. He’s not always having a go at the rest of the team, he’s giving instructions. As he should do, the only player with a full view of the pitch and a very experienced player at that.
  7. Showed little courage to take the ball and just as little desire to impact their midfield last night. He still has so much to give but so much to improve on. When we have less games in January I expect to see him get back to influencing games.
  8. Absolutely this. How many captains have we had that our fans have said were weak because they didn’t scream and shout? Pickford screams and shouts and suddenly he’s a problem, after we get beat by one of the greatest teams the game has ever seen. The mind boggles.
  9. Apart from Newcastle (which is clearly a personal issue that will stick with him) it’s probably about three years since he’s fucked up.
  10. I was in the stadium. Want to know what I heard? I heard tens of thousands of Evertonians clapping every fucking time he kept us in the game. The same as every other game he plays.
  11. More open and honest communication from Kevin. https://www.evertonfc.com/news/3831090/thelwell-on-everton-january-transfer-window-future-plans
  12. Exactly my point, but I think you didn’t detect my sarcasm (our previous owner said the club was for sale for 20 years). I’m sure there have been plenty more prior to Moshiri who wanted to buy us too.
  13. Well depending who you want to believe only Moshiri and 777 have wanted to buy the club in the last 20+ years.
  14. Ornstein reporting that FCA have approved 777, so just waiting for the football authorities now.
  15. But back then she had a lovely pair. I’m sure they are still lovely now to be fair.
  16. I’ve had my tea, but I could just do a curry now. A place near ours does a house dish called chilli chicken zinger, it’s so good. They just don’t give enough. Back before my missus had a kid and turned vegetarian we used to go there and order three dishes and share them. For about four years we never knew which was which, but it was all so good. With a Kingfisher on draft. Im going to be starving all night now.
  17. Wouldnt surprise me if his release clause is a lot less with a relegation. His no fee loan was tied to relegation, so hopefully they did something daft like £30m but £5m if they arent in the Prem, thinking they would be fine. Wishful thinking.
  18. Keane and Godfrey were both excellent and I’m very happy for them. That said, I thought Tarky was a powerhouse and kept the whole team organised and focused. Fantastic leadership from him tonight.
  19. Of course it’s a different league. If you go into receivership though, you may end up in a situation where the club is technically a new company. This is what happened with Rangers. A new company would have no claim to a place in the Premier League. It wouldn’t be a case of a punishment, just that a newco would be just that.
  20. Meanwhile, the rest of us enjoy four wins on the bounce and four clean sheets.
