  1. Totally agree with the above. Tackles made with such malice and intent should be dealt with in much more serious manner. minimum of ten game ban (if the other player isn't seriously injured), wages during this period stopped or the banned for the same length of time the injury lasts for. If a career is ended (like this one could be) criminal charges should be made against the player.
  2. I'm pretty sure they still pay tax but it's capped at 25%. I read somewhere that he's getting paid 40k per week after tax.
  3. I think the only indicator we can fully rely on is whether or not he plays tomorrow night. I's love to know the dialogue thats gone on behind the scences with this whole situation. Has Moyes actually given any indication that he will let him go for a certain amount/certain player plus cash deal. I'd be more than happy with either Richards or Nedum involved in this deal. Dunnes a no go, past it, Petrov possibly, not a bad player but wouldn't pay more than 4 or 5 mill for him.
  4. How about if Hibbert isn't ready and he doesn't trust Jacobsen, putting the Yobocop in at right back? Played there internationally, has good pace and he's keeping his favoured back line without disrupting Jags favoured position. Just a thought?
  5. I agree with pretty everything said above about Chebes in that i think he's lazy, arrogant and shows nowhere near enough entusiasm when playing for us. However i can sort of undertand his complaint in that he feels he's a striker so when the other strikers are out he should be given a chance (which i know he has). My sympathy for the lad comes into play when you consider that he kicked off for not being allowed to move to Hull. It sounds like he's accepted that he won't be a first choice for everton even without any fit strikers so wants to move on to another club where his competition won't be as fierce. I just think he might have seen this as a chance for first team football and Moyes has refused this and wants him to play second fiddle to Cahill. I must stress that i don't think Moyes has done anything wrong in this, we need all the bodies we can muster at the moment good or dare i say it average players.
  6. A little bit dramatic wouldn't you say?
  7. A replacement for Stevie P when he goes to Russia?
  8. You cna't blame them though! It's only like any other club (inc. ourselves) stating that they'd like to sign a player, one thats not totally out of their reach. Like us and Moutinho in a away. Saying that they should do a little more research than checking the players appearances on teletext before stating that he doesn't get a game
  9. Pretty impressive! He's looking like he's getting his confidence back and speaking to his back 4 a little more so i hope that he builds on this record and starts picking up a few more.
  10. Forgive my ignorance but which record was that worshipper?
  11. Totally agreed - Jags is twice the CB Lescott is.
  12. The Yobo one is alright the rest are utter shite! They've clearly had a change in artist as the older ones a pretty good.
  13. Can't see us wanting to let him go or him wanting to go, before his injury he was getting nothing but praise from all quarters. Think these Russkis are clutching at straws.
  14. I'm a little late posting this but i watched Sunhsine the other night, new Steve Coogan comedy/drama, written by Craig Cash. It's a 3 parter and should be available on BBC I-player thing if anyone is interested.
  15. I'll be wearing brown trousers tonight. Leige are very organised and have a brilliant record at home, this could turn out to be a resounding loss. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Peanuts return to the side will give us a lift and Saha might just have a fruitful cameo appearance. heart says we'll nick it 0 - 1 head says we'll simply be outplayed 2 - 0
  16. From what i've seen and heard Jags doesn't do enough talking to be captain, despite his moments of mediocrity Pips a mouthy get who motivates people and gives 100% in every game. He's a fantastic role model to younger players and more often than not to the older members of the team as well. I think one day Jags will make a good captain but it's a little too early right now.
  17. I'm not getting my hopes up .................. BUT FUCKING HELL HOW GOOD WOULD THIS BE IF IT CAME THROUGH!!!! COYB!!!!! As i said, not geting my hopes
  18. Moyes must have thought he was going to improve defensively (which he still could, he's only 23 or 24 isn't he?) and so is giving him time. You're right though he's doing him no favours by giving him bit parts every now and then. I'd like to see him being given a proper run in the team.
  19. point taken there mate, maybe could have been worded slightly better but i'm sure you know what i mean. Cahill scores more than Ossie and Arteta, he's more of a goal threat.
  20. I'm pretty sure it was only once, the lazy bastards being lying down watching Emmerdale stroking his poorly leg ever since! Cahill is an invaluable player to Everton, he brings a dimension to our midfield that no one else does .... goals.
  21. It's more wages on a player thats injry prone. Although i'd like to see him play for us i don't think we can gamble on paying another injured players wages in the hope that he'll be fit.
