  1. He is very strong, uses his big ass to protect the ball hes very hard to get off the ball
  2. Not been home long, would have taken a point before the game but feel we should have had all 3! Moss really is a shit ref, thought you controlled most of the 1st half apart from a 10-15 spell we worked a bit harder, 2nd half I think we pretty much bossed apart from the last 10 mins where we seemed to sit back and let you have the ball, pretty nervy at the end, not a bad turnout from us for a Friday night (which has to be the suckiest time & day to play) but pleased with out position at this point, did Bolasie try to hard or did we get to him I wonder. anyway lets see what happens at our place later in the season. Good luck for the rest of the season (except against us of course)
  3. Yannick will get the respect he deserves (we may even teach you how to sing his song properly ) Agree that he will either be up for it, or beat himself every trick I hope our defenders must have some idea of what he may do (even if he dont!) Yet to have a rotten night at Goodison Great venue for football and a decent night out afterwards Not happy about the ref.....play the advantage....(unless your playing Man U in the FA Cup Final)
  4. Since we been back in the PL....2-3...2-3....1-1 looking forward the Friday night, will be there
  5. On Bolasie Hes the most exciting play to watch, and the most frustrating player to watch all rolled into one, he has the pace & strength to go past people and can whip in a decent cross (on occasions) his tracking back can be a bit hit & miss, but sometimes just cut out the unnecessary flicks and tricks and look up before 'whipping' the ball in, the less said about his shooting the better really, always trys to break the net when there is no need to, his 1st PL goal proved that (It was against you) where he sidefooted it back where it came from, he never seemed to learn from that. so enjoy him but be prepared to be frustrated by him
  6. Now are you sure, not many got it right for Wednesday. Hope you smash Man U & beat Arsenal to 4th spot Everton 1 Man U 0 Baines free kick 64th min (this is how much we like Man u (http://www.cpfc.org/forums/showthread.php?t=167834) Go & beat these muppets
  7. Only got back from your nice city this afternoon (good beer, nice ppl and 3 points (as I wanted)) Whay a great day (few) as a Palace fan, I think I mentioned Mile Jedinak ( Squawka Football ‏@Squawka 2h Mile Jedinak has made 128 interceptions in the league this season, that's 20 more than any other player across Europe's top five leagues.) I said he would fill that hole, you had the better of the ball, but as a few on here have said, no point crossing it without looking up or getting players in the box, thanks for more or less making sure we stay up, I hope you beat Arsenal to 4th spot, at least your fans try to sing unlike the "Library" in North London, thought the atmosphere could have been better (from your point of view) but I think the occasion & nerves got to you more than us, it was a no lose game for us (we expected to get nothing from you) as we will against Man City & our last home game vs Liverp**l, we may yet to have a big say who wins the title, anyway wish you all well, great City & people and I WILL be back next season
  8. Looking forward to coming up tomorrow for this, proper old school ground with decent fans, I dont think we will "park the bus" we have a very good well drilled defence that has improved aove the last 6 weeks by 100%, someone said we were the best defence he has seen and we have improved, with the Gooners winning tonight they are a bit closer to you, so you want the points, we also want the point to move 3 points clear of Wet Spam, all to play for so they say, and as for someone saying there will be space between our CB. and midfield, just think and check the stats of Mile Jedinak, hes a beast that fills that hole. looking forward to a pretty open game and a draw would do us (at thjis end of the season im used to saying "we need 3 points!!!") Good luck on getting 4th, but I hope we take 3 points of you and you still do it
  9. Most Palace are near the ground, red weather warnings for the last few days!! crap orginisation by the authorities
  10. Try being a Palace fan! Baines was poor for you today, he was the player I feared the most as his crossing is usually sublime and with that beast up front................ and us with a keeper who seems to have had his boots stiched to the goaline, but we should have taken all 3 points, thats ben our problem all season we cant score, our 1st clean sheet this season is also pleasing, Im glad you didnt play well today, its given me hope all is not lost quite yet, looking forward to coming to Goodison a proper ground, I thought Jedinak bossed the middle, hes so good at breaking up play, he get in where it hurts
  11. Is he that bad!!! thought injurys had messed up his short career up

    Hi

The Whithorse is a very decent pub (I would say that as it is a real Palace pub) decked out in full Palace colours memoribilia on the walls and ceilings, closer to Selhurst station, if you want cheaper beer The Victory Club in South Norwood high st serves real ales is away fan friendly (cost £1 to get in (last season)) but beer about £2.50 a pint use Norwood Junction stn 3 min walk. looking forward to the 9th November

    Hi

Millwall like to call us the Stripy Nigels (as Adrian Durum picked up on) and we in turn call them the Knuckledraggers The "Team of the 80's" was busted wide open by Terry Venables selling the likes of Kenny Sansom to Arsenal (whilst his wife was his agent, brown envelope 'Tel) TV disappeared players were sold & the team broken up. The 90's team was a ramshackle team put together for peanuts (Ian Wright cost us £38,000, lots of rumours it was for beer etc etc) Mark Bright £75,000 form Leicester because Lineker was number 1 striker at the time, and it worked and we had some sucess, looking forward to what the future team holds in store..........................Staying up would be nice though this time
