  1. a good signing, young & enthusiastic The old guard are being edged out wouldn't surprise me if weir went now (not that it would bother me too much) Everton in young squad shocker!!
  2. i'd like us to sign him. I know a couple of wolves fans and they are gutted to be losing him. As they describe him 'the best CH outside the prem'......... but of course, they would say that!! still want him though, fuck off grandaddy weir (thanks for everything but go embarass yourself somewhere else) yobo lescott/stubbs- an improvement on last year
  3. whilst he clearly isn't 'top' prem quality, he can still do a job on his day sadly his day isn't often enough but i'd rather we keep him, he's settled into the way we play and also is the only option we have after BT & AJ Vaughan & Anichebe are at most bit part players next year, give them a go but Faddy will be needed to, and will offer, more Only my opinion though guys!
  4. i'd be satisfied with those signings, would prefer not to keep Weir, but needs must. having said that ....... we'lll probably get out bid by someone shite ....... and get none of them ........ or they'll go to Newcastle (de ja vu me thinks )
  5. 3 goals disallowed 2 in first half 1 in second half
  6. to be honest, beattie was taken off to 'save' him for league games. he has just returned from injury so why play him in a pointless second half where he could get injured. Faddy played well when he came on, so i personally, think it was good management by Mr Moyes. i would obviously have liked us to attack more in the second half, but there was no way we would have got back into the game, 3 goals against chelsea just doesn't happen these days (Of course, this is only my opinion)
  7. it proves what a good run we're on ...........top of 2 league tables
  8. i like the look of ferrari and yobo together, and with stubbs as a back up, it is looking reasonably solid. As fozzie said, i think it should have been Weir going, cos Stubbs is a better defender, and he's a blue so i was delighted to see him return
  9. leon is an inventive creative player, similar to Arteta just less 'flashy' he keeps it simple, works hard off the ball and makes clever runs. Really beginning to play consistently well now with a prolonged run in the team, i even think he forms a good partnership with BT The majority of the team is now back to something like last seasons level of performances. best run in 7 years..............fooking brill
  10. the calender year of 2005 was just shite for us. yet we are now performing very well. a credibal point last night proves this Valente is looking good, and i too agree that Moyes is one of the better managers in the league Looking at our squad we have the people mentioned above coming back, including Carsley, so our squad (when available) isn't that bad, would have been nice to see someone come in to 'freshen things up' though
  11. it certainly was fun last night. getting all excited for last minute shock, when the shcok was that i actually believed we may sign a player. i didn't want us to be greedy like pompey and buy an entire f**king team, but one new face would have been nice The weird thing is that we are still unbeaten in 2006, and having our best run for ages and ages......so changes are not essential (at the moment), however if we pick up a couple more injuries we are well on our way up a famous creek without a paddle its always interesting being a blue!!
  12. better than looking at porn i suppose
  13. another transfer window closes with the mrs having stormed off to bed wondering why her bloke is searching the internet for a sniff of a rumour
